Gavriel wasn't fully engaged in what she was saying because, at that moment, he was busy identifying which friend had sold the magic bullet to Iris.

If his suspicions were correct, it was Xavier Darkwood who had sold it.

'What the hell, Xavier Darkwood!! Why would you sell such a precious bullet to her?' Gavriel was puzzled. Could Xavier have genuinely fallen in love with Iris to the extent that he'd give her a bullet capable of killing even an immortal like him!?
