Iris couldn't help but chuckle at how terrified Justin's voice sounded. She stowed her phone in her bag and glanced at Xavier. "Did you know you scared the hell out of him?"

"Yes, I know. Well, he deserved worse! But his unquestioned loyalty to me saves him." Xavier responded with an impassive expression.

"Xavier, when you're talking about the driving lessons, do you really mean it?" she asked, shifting the conversation to another topic. She wanted to know if Xavier was genuinely committed to this or if he was just putting on an act.

"Of course! And we can start today. I'll let you drive when we get home," he replied. "Though I'm sure your driving skill doesn't need to be tested. I can sense your driving skill has just improved exponentially. Am I right?"
