35 FIND THE OTHER HALF

Hello, my dear readers. :)

First of all, I would like to say thank you. For reading my novel and for letting me know about your views in the comment section.

I know that some of you are asking me for more updates.

I am trying my best to do so, my semester exams are just around the corner and I am studying for them.

So, I won't be able to update chapters on regular basis but I would try my best to update 2 ch/week but I am not making any promises.... :(

Li Jie's clear eyes were showing the image of cottage. After hearing about the other sword from Ying Ying, Li Jie was in a terrible dilemma.

He had thought that he would be able to use this sword during apocalypse to slay zombies but it looks like either he would have to look for another weapon or find the pair sword of the sword but he had wanted to start his cultivation from this day but it looks like he had to look for the other sword first and then he would be able to cultivate in peace.

Li Jie made up his mind and walked towards the cottage with decisive steps. Ying Ying looked at the back of the young man who was walking in from of it and shook its head in helplessness.

Li Jie who was walking ahead was not aware of the fox's action. He was listening to his guts which were telling him to go inside the cottage and he was sure that he could find something that would help him to locate the other sword.

Li Jie went inside the last room in the cottage, where the sword was emitting dark light. He tried to touch the sword once again and surprisingly he was able to touch the handle of the sword. Li Jie looked at the sword in his hand with a shine in his eyes.

He picked the sword with the intention to find the other pair and it looked like the sword could guess the intention of the human.

The black aura around the sword was gone by now. It was just emmitting a small flicker of light which was not there from the beginning. Li Jie put down the sword in its original place and looked around the room which was full of books and picked the books which were related to the sword and sat down to read them, so that he would find the other sword quickly. Li Jie could feel jow how important the other sword must be for his sword.

After 2 hours of reading, he came across the text which was related to the current situation. It was written that the twin swords are usually made for a pair. It could be a pair of siblings, husband - wife or any pair but the feelings between them must be strong enough to support the sword energy. The sword energy of the sword was the main reason behind the power of the sword, it was due to the sword energy that it was still in good condition even after a very long period of time. Due to the absence of the other sword, both of the swords were in danger as their sword energy was depleting rapidly which would result in the disintegration of the sword.

Also, the small flicker of light on the sword was representating the distance between the swords and the very dim light on the sword was indicating that both of the swords were away from each other and the time is not much, they have to retrieve the other sword. So, that both the swords would not be disintegrated.

After studying all that he stood up elegantly and walked towards the sword and said " I would try my best to find your other half " Li Jie said while stroking the handle of the sword in his hand.

He walked out of the cottage and went to the fox who was sleeping near the spirit pond and said " we are going out "

Ling Ling who was pretending to sleep raised his head to look at the young man. The fox's face was full of dissatisfaction. He just want to laze around but his master was like a magnet to all the problems.

He shook his head and followed Li Jie without saying anything.
