5 Back to school

As Li Na arrived at the school gate, she saw a group of girls standing around, whispering and giggling. Li Na recognized them as the same girls who used to bully her in her past life.

One of the girls, named Xiao Mei, noticed Li Na and sneered. "Look who it is, Li Na. The ugly duckling of the school. Have you done anything to improve your appearance?"

Li Na raised an eyebrow, unfazed by the girl's words. "I don't need to improve my appearance, Xiao Mei. I'm already beautiful enough. But I can't say the same for you. Have you considered investing in getting surgery? Or maybe a paper bag for your face?"

The other students laughed, and Xiao Mei's face turned bright red with anger. "You think you're so clever, Li Na. But no one here likes you. You're just a loser."

Li Na shrugged. "I don't care if anyone likes me or not. I'm here to get an education, not make friends with a bunch of shallow girls like you."

With that, Li Na walked past the group of girls, leaving them fuming in her wake.

As Li Na walked away from Xiao Mei and her friends at the school gates, she could feel their eyes on her back, and she knew they were still talking about her. But she didn't care. She had dealt with their kind before, and she knew how to handle them.

Meanwhile, Xiao Mei and her friends were still fuming about Li Na's new attitude as they watched her walk away from them and into the school building.

"I don't understand why she's suddenly acting like she's better than us," complained one of the girls.

"It's probably because she thinks she's hot stuff now," snickered another girl.

Xiao Mei frowned. "Whatever it is, we need to put her in her place," she said. "We can't let her get away with disrespecting us like that."

The other girls nodded in agreement, and they continued to plot and scheme, determined to bring Li Na down. But little did they know, Li Na was already one step ahead of them. She had a plan of her own, and she was ready to take them on.

Li Na entered the classroom and looked around, trying to find her old seat, but everything seemed unfamiliar to her. The students had not yet arrived, she decided to ask one of her classmates for help. She walked up to a girl who looked friendly and introduced herself.

"Hi, I'm Li Na. I'm sorry, but I don't remember where I used to sit. Can you help me out?" Li Na asked.

The girl smiled warmly at her. "Sure, no problem. My name is Liu Yan. You used to sit in the back corner over there," she said, pointing to a corner of the classroom.

"Thank you so much, Yan, I really appreciate it," Li Na said gratefully.

Li Na breathed a sigh of relief as she walked over to her seat. She felt grateful for Liu Yan's help, and it made her feel a little bit more at ease in this unfamiliar environment.

Li Na finally settled in her seat, feeling a bit nervous about being back in school after so many years.

Other students started streaming into the class, talking and laughing with their friends. Soon, the class teacher walked in and the room grew quiet she was a middle-aged woman with short hair and a no-nonsense demeanor. She scanned the class with her sharp eyes, making sure everyone was in their seats and ready to start the day.

"Good morning, everyone," she said, her voice firm and clear. "I hope you all had a good weekend. Now let's get down to business. The teacher, Mrs. Huo, cleared her throat and announced to the class, "Alright everyone, we're going to have a pop quiz today on the material we've covered so far this semester."

Immediately, the class erupted in groans and complaints. One student even shouted, "Are you trying you ruin our day, Mrs. Huo?" another student yelled out, "But we didn't study!"

The teacher chuckled and replied, "That's the point of a pop quiz, to see what you know without preparation."

Another student chimed in, "Can we postpone it? I have a dentist appointment later today."

Mrs. Huo smiled and shook her head at the students as they groaned and complained about the pop quiz. "Don't worry, it's just a small quiz," she said reassuringly. "You have nothing to fear as long as you've been keeping up with your studies."

The students grumbled some more, but the teacher didn't budge. She handed out the quiz and told them to begin. As they scribbled away.

Li Na's hands trembled slightly as she received the test paper from the teacher. She looked at the questions on the paper and felt a wave of panic wash over her. She had not brushed up on her studies since her rebirth and was not sure if she could even answer the simplest questions.

But Li Na was a smart girl, and she knew that panicking would only make things worse. She took a deep breath, read the questions carefully, and began to write her answers.

As she wrote, she realized that some of the information she had learned in her previous life was still with her. She remembered some of the formulas and concepts that she had studied before, and was able to apply them to the questions on the test.

Li Na felt utterly drained as she gathered her belongings and prepared to leave for the day. The stress of the constant tests had taken it's toll on her, and her mind felt muddled with information. She walked out the classroom and made her way to the exit of the school, feeling the weight of the day dragging her down. The sounds of students chattering and laughing around her only added to her fatigue, and she longed for a quiet place where she could rest and recharge. As she walked out of the school gates, the sun beat down on her, and she closed her eyes for a moment, trying to steady her breathing and find some inner calm.
