"All right Daddy..." she rushed towards the school iron gate with her brother, they were already late and had delayed completing her homework.

The chauffeur turned around and drove away to the Gu Company building.

After twenty minutes, the boy's parents arrived at the school compound and when they saw the condition of their son, they immediately called the cops to arrest Gu Mingyue, and the boy got transferred to a bigger hospital to be attended to urgently.

"Officers, make sure she has been jailed for years for attempted murder... She can't be released... " the boy's father spoke up with fury as you could feel an invisible smoke radiating out of his head.

"I know my rights, I was defending myself, I don't think they should guarantee me years in prison..." Mingyue smirked as they handcuffed her and dragged her to the police car.

Since she was arrested so openly, most of the students got the news and rumors, even Gu Ting and Gu Tingyi who had arrived late also heard the news.

When the news got to Bai Xue, she panicked and rushed out of the class while the teacher was teaching, she couldn't let her friend be imprisoned because of her.

She rushed over to the principal's office, "Principal, it was my fault..." Her tearing eyes gazed at him worriedly.

"Bai Xue, don't get yourself involved with this kind of student, you would sully your family's good name associating yourself with a girl like her, don't ruin your future..." the principal cautioned her as the police car drove away.

Ten minutes later, they arrived at the police station and Mingyue was held up in the cell.

" You have the phone, call your parents to come over... " The police officers gave her the phone to make calls, every person had the right to make phone calls more so when she was a minor.

She picked it up from the desk and eyed it for a second before dialing the number she was familiar with, after two rings, it was received.

" Father, I was arrested and they need a parent to come over..." she mumbled without much expectation leaning back on the hard chair.
