It's such a good feeling.
She so wished that the days could just go on comfortably and peacefully, not having to pay attention to all those complicated people and things, not having to worry about what would happen in the future, and just enjoying the warmth of the moment in peace and quiet.
But the truth of her mother's death waits for her to find out, the mystery of her own birth waits for her to solve, and the grudge from her last life waits for her to clear.
In this life, one must be strong enough to be able to guard what one wants to guard, and one's own happiness must be fought for on one's own.
Olivia thought about it so much that it made her brain foggy ...
Liam finished the work in hand and then looked up; Olivia was lying on the sofa, her head on one side, her hair behind her ear, her eyes closed tightly, her eyelashes long and curled, her lips red and full, tantalizing like cherries.
A pair of long, well-proportioned legs were bent, the computer in her lap still closed, and the jacket she'd brought on her way here had slipped to her feet.
Quiet and defenseless, Liam just watched for a long time as the woman seemed to be seducing him at all hours since last night.
Liam approached to take down the laptop, and the moment he closed it, he saw the WhatsApp chat screen stuck on the computer.
Olivia, the Smith family is bidding on the Cedarburg project. See if you can get me a bid.
The force of closing the laptop was heavy.
Lucas again. Olivia, are you really what Noah says you are?
After carrying Olivia back to her room, Liam went back to his room and into the bathroom, the water in the shower was cold, below body temperature to calm him down a bit.
Coming out of the bathroom Liam saw the small bulge in the covers, being used to being on his own and not wearing a robe when he came out.
But the girl even pulled down the covers to sneak a peek at him.
"Olivia, why don't I remember you sleepwalking?"
He let out a low sigh, "Go back!"
"I'm not leaving!" Both cheeks puffed up at the words, and the covers were pulled up over his head.
As if he hadn't heard her, Liam walked straight to the bed and lifted the covers. Olivia clutched the corners of the duvet, but her little strength was no match for Liam.
The covers were lifted to see Liam looking like he was going to carry her away again; Olivia sat up and held both hands out in front of Liam, her eyes looking up at him clean and innocent.
"You try!"
When Liam didn't respond, he simply put both hands on his chest.
"Ice."
Olivia looked up, a pair of eyes looking at Liam with pity, her voice soft with a hint of petulance, "My feet are icy too; I can't cover them."
Liam glanced down at the small hand on his chest, and his brow furrowed, "Are you sure?"
Naturally, Olivia knew he was asking if she was sure she wanted to sleep there and nodded her head.
"Lie down and get tucked in." Liam's dark eyes met Olivia's expectant ones, and in the end, he couldn't bear to refuse.
With that said, Liam took off his shoes and got into bed, laying down next to Olivia and pulling her hand over it.
"Why is it so icy?"
"Ever since I was a kid."
Liam frowned slightly, his eyes darkening a bit.
Olivia burrowed into his arms, regarding Liam's hand, slowly curling her legs and
"..."
Why is that knee hot?
Olivia's face rubbed red as she ran into ...
Olivia hastened to straighten her legs again.
"Stop moving around! Do you not want to sleep!" Liam's voice was hoarse and low.
Olivia felt his burning breath and sheepishly responded, "I'm not moving."
Liam reached out and wrapped his arms around her tightly without saying anything else.
Olivia felt the warmth emanating from Liam and nestled her whole body in his arms, closing her eyes as she slowly drifted off to sleep.
Early the next morning.
Olivia woke up without Liam in the bed, and after testing the temperature around her, it looked like she'd been gone for a long time.
Olivia had finished breakfast and was about to go upstairs to sort through the information she'd gathered on her laptop last night when an unpleasant voice sounded at the door.
"Sister, sister, I can finally see you!"
Olivia looked toward the door.
Put your bag down, change your shoes, and go inside.
Emma doesn't really think of herself as an outsider; she runs to Olivia's side and takes her arm with a concerned look on her face.
"Sister, Mr. Liam didn't do anything to you, did he? You don't know. I rushed over as soon as I heard you were brought back, but they wouldn't let anyone near the villa for the first two days, and I was stopped outside several times I came."
Olivia glanced up at Emma with a faint sweep of her eyes, burgundy French deep-v dress, and delicate makeup; she really wasn't going to miss every chance she might get to see Liam.
This look of hypocrisy is really the same as Lucas, what's the saying, what goes with the dog, the sky's the limit.
"Ellie, have Carter reemphasize to everyone that in the future when someone comes to the door to visit, they must get permission from Liam or me before letting them in."
Olivia said this to Ellie, but her eyes were on Emma the whole time.
The line of her lips curved slightly, and her eyes did smile, but Emma felt a vague chill run down her back.
"Olivia, is this mad at me?" Parkview Heights which was where others could just come and go as they pleased, before it was her who took the opportunity to say that she was accompanying Olivia, both to advise Olivia and to reduce the chances of Liam and Olivia being alone.
It was Olivia who specifically instructed that she be allowed to come and go as she pleased in and out of Parkview Heights, and relying on Olivia's reliance and trust in her she even stayed overnight on a regular basis.
Emma just assumed that Olivia was angry that she hadn't managed to successfully elope with Lucas, but this sister of hers, Olivia, was as easy to coax as she was to trick.
"Olivia, it's my fault for thinking it was carefully arranged but still getting caught, letting you get caught back."
"Heh." Olivia laughed softly, "But using death threats has an effect."
When she finished, she looked up at Emma again with a smile, "Too bad Liam won't let me go."
It took Emma a moment to figure out that Olivia was mad at Lucas, mad that Lucas had let her stay with Liam to steal information.
She reached up and took Olivia's arm, coercing her shoulders into a fawning smile, "Olivia, that's why I'm here today. Let's sit down and talk."
"Olivia, I know you don't want to stay by Mr. Liam's side in order to steal those trade secrets, and I've also advised Lucas that this is not a good idea, but there's really no other way for Lucas to do it. I've been thinking for a long time and finally came up with a good solution."
The location changed, the sayings didn't, and in her last life, Olivia had signed a Dissolution of Marriage Agreement.
Later Lucas asked her to return to Liam, she came back Liam but insisted on breaking off the engagement, she had to go back to live with the Garcia family for the time being until later on Mason's 50th birthday.
Liam was going to speak to the Garcia family about breaking off the engagement at the party, but something unforeseen happened at the party.
Liam didn't mention the breakup of the engagement again and took her back to Parkview Heights so she could keep giving Lucas what trade secrets she could.
In her last life, Emma said this to her at the Garcia family and that incident at the party ...
