127 You are brilliant

Xiao Ni arrived at the Locason Building almost an hour later. She comfortably waiting for the lift to take her to the highest floor while thinking about the school she would like to establish.

The lift ding-ed, she walks out from it calmly, composing herself to Wang Kai's office. There are Han Li, Chen Miao, and two other workers outside Wang Kai's office. She supposed the two of them are someone working for her foundation.

"Bought some snacks for all of you. Thank you for your work hard." Xiao Ni reveals her beautiful eye smiles.

"We'll eat it at break time, thank you, Mrs.Wang," Chen Miao said representing the whole worker there.

"Call me Xiao-" Xiao never finishes her sentence as Wang Kai cut her off. "Xiao Ni, come inside."

Xiao Ni raised her eyebrow. There is a little line on his forehead. By the way, he talks and looks she knew something has pissed him off. Xiao Ni tilted her head to Han Li, who quickly shrugs his shoulder to her.

He waits impatiently at the door and pulls her wrist when she is one step away from him. Xiao Ni gasp when he slammed the door close and locked it.

"What are you doing?" She stuttered.

She blinks for a second and he had kabedon-ing her. Wang Kai has become more wild and uncontrollable ever since, 'you-know-what'. He even dares to do it in the office now!

Her heart jumping around with mixed feelings.

Wang Kai looks at the frightened little rabbit, surpassing his desire to laugh. Instead, he trapped her between his arm as her back stuck on the wall.

"That question is for you, young lady. What are you doing?" he asked with a hoarse voice, staring so pointedly at her in such a close distance. He could see a big question mark on Xiao Ni's eyes.

"In the hospital, what are you doing in the hospital?" He made himself clear without lowering the level of tension between them. Xiao Ni's expression changes, from enlightened to angry in a split of a second.

"I was apologizing to Senior Brother, and how the heck do you know?!" She raised her tone. Wang Kai did not answer her question but silently observing the features she had.

Facing the mute Wang Kai, Xiao Ni has time to gain back her composure. Of course, she did not need him to answer her. She knew the answer already. Suddenly she felt the pulse to chuckle,

Wang Kai looks surprised when he heard the beautiful chuckles coming out from those small mouths. Those pretty little mouth he has been dying to taste the moment she comes. But he does love hearing her laughter. His expression shifted to curiosity.

Why does she laugh?

Xiao Ni bites her lower lips to stop her laughter and look straight back to her husband. Her husband who tries so hard for her and their relationship. It's like a flower blossom on her heart while she stomached filled with a butterfly when she saw those dark brown pupils enlarged.

"At some point, I knew you are going to stalk me." She giggles.

Wang Kai raised his right eyebrow in wonder. Doesn't she go to throw a fit at him for arranging people around her?

"And you found it funny because...?" He demands an answer.

"Because no matter how many shadows bodyguard you put to watch me, you never make them stop me do anything I want." She said with glee in her eyes. She also has a great impulse to kiss him right now. Thankfully her consciousness stops her before it's too late.

"Well, that's because I arranged for them to protect you. Not to seize your freedom from you." He smiles, happy that he order the right things.

Xiao Ni laughed again. "But, I still end up with danger anyway."

That's when Wang Kai's face fell. His whole heart hurt like a bleed has pierced it sharply, forcing to rip it apart. Xiao Ni cursed her foul mouth instantly, her hand panicky reaching for his. She holds him tight, almost whispering when she said, "But I'm glad for the danger. It makes me open my eyes and actually see how many people love me."

His eyes soften when he heard her. But still, something just tugs his heart. He returned her smiles and kissed her on the forehead, gently.

"I love you." He whispers in between his kiss.

It was sweet like honeydew, and Xiao Ni was getting drunk.

"I love you," she replied in a whisper. Wang Kai looks down and stares at her eyes once again. His thumb touched her soft plump lips as he shook his head.

"I love you, and you are right, I'm going to send them back to the training center and choose other candidates. We cannot depend on Taylor forever." he walks away and takes his phone from his working desk.

Xiao Ni gagged on the cold wall. She followed his steps, and grab his arm from behind. "No! I'm just kidding. I was talking without thinking earlier."

She couldn't imagine how many souls she tortured on 'training camp' just because of her foul mouth.

Wang Kai turn around and kissed her hair. He casually said, "Yeah, your joke is right. You are brilliant." he smiles.

"..." Xiao Ni did not know what to say suddenly.

"Please don't do that. Everything happens mostly because of my foolish decision. They've tried their best." Xiao Ni pleaded.

Wang Kai thought for a second and nodded his head. "Still, you are right." Even though everything under his control now, how knows what holds in the future?

Xiao Ni rolls her eyes.

Several hours later, Xiao Ni signed the paper words for the building and land she bought. She is so happy that her eyes twinkled. Wang Kai listens to her plan all the way to the penthouse.

"Can the building ready in the next 3 months?" Xiao Ni asked Wang Kai, who she believes has more experience.

"With enough money, it's not impossible. The government builds a hospital in 6 days. I'm sure 3 months is enough time." Wang Kai said, lowering his reading glasses.

"Oh... that's must be expensive." She mumbles then leans closer to Wang Kai. Wang Kai moves his hand over her shoulder in natural moves that even Xiao Ni did not notice.

"You've been talking about the school so long, aren't you thirsty?" he asked tastefully. Xiao Ni pouted and hit his chest, where he acted like she really hurt him with her energy.

In the past, he might have her fooled. But after so many things happen in bed, she knew his much stronger than her. The contrast of their power makes her look pathetic.

"I'm thirsty, go take water for me!" She orders him while glaring. Wang Kau chuckles and closed his book. He looks at fuming Xiao Ni and commented, "Petty Xiao Ni."

He runs to get her water before she has time to hit him with a pillow. It did not take him long to come back upstairs with a glass of mineral water. Xiao Ni indeed is thirsty, so she did not refuse the water.

Wang Kai watched her drinking everything in one gulp shook his head and lead back to the bed headboard. "Did your senior brother forgive you?" there is definitely mockery in his tone as he acts nonchalant.

Xiao Ni observes him while drinking her water. She wipes the excess coming out from the corner of her mouth with her backhand. "Uh-huh, he did," she give the empty glass back to Wang Kai.

Wang Kai calmly put the glass beside the nightstand. "Then? what else did you talk about? You don't need half an hour to apologize right?" His thin lips curled upside down.

Xiao Ni pursed her lips and lean closer to him. Placing her chin on his upper stomach as she playfully asked, "Are you jealous?"

Wang Kai silently observes her long eyelashes when she blinks her eyes. He did not answer as he thinks she should've known the answer to her question.

Xiao Ni giggles as she watches his sour expression. Rolling back to her side of the bed she clears her throat and tells him about Ye Na and her crush on Song Wei Long.

Wang Kai did not make any comment and quietly listen to her story. Calmly listening like she's reading him a fairytale. Xiao Ni almost thinks he has fallen asleep if he did not snort at the end of her story.

"Your bestfriend sucks."

"..." Xiao Ni gapes and turn her head to him.

"No need to defend them in front of me. No matter what you say, it won't changed my view for them." He casually folds his hand on his chest while staring at her.

Xiao Ni throws her hand in the air with an expression that said 'what the hell?' She wanted to ask what does he meant by that. Of course, she knew Ye Na and Bai Jing is not a good friend now. But they actually okay in the past...?

"Anyway, don't go and meet that Song Wei Long guy again." Wang Kai said coldly. Xiao Ni pouted and furrowed her eyebrow.

"Why? jealous much?"

"Handsome man who would make woman chat are the most annoying."

Xiao Ni laughed at him afterward, hard.
