4 What Became Strange

Everyone took notice of Rantaro looking at them and just went to their rooms, as Rantaro slept, he began having memory - like visions, it wasn't about his mom or dad but ....

It showed a blue haired girl looking at him and holding his hand and leading him to somewhere, it was strange for Rantaro, who was this girl and why was she here?

He then had another vision, it showed him the same girl in Rantaro's house, she looked depressed but about what, Rantaro thought to himself about it. But as Rantaro woke up, he put it aside and focused on school.

He did his normal routine, then went to school, after that he was about to go home but then, Joey and Roy asked if they come with them to a bar. "Aren't we too young for that?"

"Correct but this one, this bar is also a restaurant and it allows us to go there as long as we don't order beer or do anything that pisses them off". Joey replied.

Rantaro of course, didn't show any signs of protesting so agreed and they went to this bar and as they walked inside, they saw that it looked old fashioned, the guys didn't mind so they went inside and took a seat.

As they ordered, Rantaro could see that a man who looked like he was the boss, stared at him, he felt confused and concerned, he then stood up and went to their table.

"Howdy boys, how've been doing and how's Martha?" he said as if he knew them. "We're doing okay, it's nice to see that we're still welcomed and if you're still trying to win our mom's heart, you got to try harder".

"I know, I know but it's been a while and whose this, I don't think we met, my name is Hajime Takahashi anzd I'm the owner but I guess you figured it out". Rantaro introduced himself in a quick pace.

"Woah there, this kid doesn't joke around does he?" Joey and Roy nodded to agree. He then left them to enjoy their time and as they knew it, it was already midnight.

As they were about to leave, a stranger walked in and immediately Hajime told him to leave, "Woah there Hajime, I'm just trying to have some fun, come on, can we just put aside our grudges?"

Hajime had that stern look in his eyes, sounds like they had a bad relationship but who was this man. Rantaro looked as they were fighting while Joey and Roy were playing the arcade machines that they had.

He then looked at Rantaro and smirked and decided to play a game of arm wrestle, Hajime looked blank in his eyes as he was confused on what he was doing. He then picked Rantaro to arm wrestle with.

Then after a small commotion, they agreed and it started, the stranger was about to win but then Rantaro countered and won leaving his hand brutally bruised.

He then offered Rantaro a hand shake, where he accepted but then felt a small scar on his hand. He ignored it and thought it could go away, after that, he never showed up and for a reward for Rantaro, he gave everyone free drinks on the house.

Everyone who was still here cheered Rantaro for what he did, "it was just a simple arm wrestle, nothing special". Everyone ignored what Rantaro said and just celebrated.

Rantaro thought, he has enough and just left to go home so he went to the nearest station which luckily had one train still running.
