10 The Blood of the Reaper

As Rantaro returned back into the real world, he was already in bed, seems like what he was meant to be doing was finished but just to be sure, he went to check on Martha and saw that she was fast asleep.

Rantaro looked at her and felt like something was out of the ordinary, and presumably, he went to the others and also saw them napping peacefully, he felt like he was satisfied of the situation so left them.

But Rantaro couldn't sleep, didn't know why, he didn't sleep early, neither did he even look interested in sleeping, but he tried to sleep, only to be woken up by Sonia's son, he looked happy then hugged him.

"Found you daddy" Rantaro was in shock about what he said, he then let go of him and simply wanted to interact with him but the problem was for Rantaro, his sense of happiness was dead.

So it was hard for Rantaro to even relate to the boy and just simply stared at him as he was having fun, he honestly enjoyed watching him but didn't know what even to do or say.

I mean he was good with kids but only knew how to keep them safe, Rantaro saw it as a challenge and felt willing to play. He then thought about Aephiarene, was it changing him?

Rantaro then looked at himself and saw that something was changing in him and it made him feel accepting of what he was becoming then, he came up with an idea, he took a picture of himself.

And he put it on the wall and this would soon become a hobby for him, because he wanted to see if there was anything that was changing him in the inside and he was correct.

Aephiarene wasn't just some realm that Rantaro had to fight, it was his way of being reborn into a new man.

He then thought of the future and what did it truly mean for Rantaro, but alas, he knew that he could never know what the future was, because if he know then he will never learn from the past.

He turned around and asked for the boy's name, "I don't have one, but you'll give me one right". Rantaro then thought of a name for him and decided to call him, 'D', he was silent for a moment but then...

He burst into excitement, "I like D, D is cool!!!!!" D's excitement was enough to even wake up an entire country in just a 3000 mile radius, strangely enough, no one woke up and were resting easy.

As the sun came up, Sonia arrived and took D home, he waved goodbye to Rantaro and surprisingly enough he smiled and waved goodbye, becoming aware of this, was convinced that he has changed.

He looked at Sonia saw that she wasn't feeling happy so Rantaro had an idea that could help boost up Sonia's personality but he knew that he needed to prepare but most importantly conquer Aephiarene.

He then saying something that came out of the ordinary and had some message that he believed had heard.

Turn until the end of time hand in hand, Take it all in on your walk, It is ticking, falling down, Cherish until the end of time, adore is openly, Turned until the end of time, you and me, Is Everyone in?

it's not like he ever say things like this out of nowhere but what he asked himself was a something becoming different.
