Yesterday's date night with Leon, unfortunately, ended miserably. After our parents came out of the blue to celebrate Leon's birthday together, we continued to spend the rest of the evening having dinner with them. Although the night did not turn out the way I expected, I was happy to see Leon finally having his family by his side to celebrate his birthday with him again.

Father told me that the Emperor was feeling apologetic for scolding Leon that afternoon, so he wanted to find a way to make up with him. 

Since their relationship hasn't been progressing very well, Father suggested to his Majesty to have a surprise gathering for Leon's birthday so that they could have a reason to bond together. 

Still, because they haven't spoken a lot with each other, the air between them constantly turned into an awkward silence, making the whole atmosphere as dead as the night in a cemetery.
