30 Reason #19 : I'm Still 15!

Before the Proposal

Prince P.O.V

*Bang!*

The door suddenly opens, and they saw the Prince rushing into the tower gates.

"Move away! Get the doctor! Quickly!!"

The Prince yelled while he carried the bleeding young girl in his arms.

"What happened?!"

Sir Ingrid said as his face went white when he saw the bleeding Ivy in his hands.

"There is no time to explain. Get your doctor! Quickly!"

Without asking any more questions, Sir Ingrid quickly called for the doctors while the Prince continued to carry Ivy in his hands.

As he firmly presses her wounds to stop her bleeding, he kept telling her to hold on.

"Hang on, Ivy. The doctors will be here soon. I'll get you treated as soon as I can."

Although he tried to stay calm, her blood-covered face kept his heart pounding again and again.

Then while he was carrying her, he heard her mumbling.

"Don't worry, don't worry."

Inside his mind, he thought.

<How can I not worry? Even at this hour, instead of worrying about yourself, you are more worried how feel. How big an idiot be?!>

Then at a point, she suddenly stops mumbling, and her eyes were completely shut.

When the Prince notices that she is no longer moving, his pounding heart suddenly stopped.

"Ivy?"

He called her and shook her

"IVY!!!"

This time he yelled at her and shook her even harder, but there was no response.

When the doctors finally caught up to them, the Prince yelled.

"Quickly! She's not moving!!"

They quickly rush her to a nearby bed to have the doctors look at her instead.

While the Prince clasped both of his hands together, praying that she will be ok, the doctors just shook their head and said, "I'm sorry, it's too late."

The Prince instinctively grip the doctor's neck, hanging him up in the air. As he tightens his grip, he sends off a deathly glare,

"Don't you dare joke about something like that. If she's dead, I'll make sure so will the rest of you."

The doctor struggled and shouts.

"She is losing too much blood. Without the proper equipment, there is nothing else we can do!"

"Tsk," the Prince clicks his tongue, and just as he was about to kill him out of rage, a stranger came and stop him.

"Please let him go, your highness."

The stranger said as he came through the door with Sir Ingrid.

"Who the hell are you?"

They kneeled before the Prince, and he began his introduction.

"I'm Baron Ingrid, the second, the lord of this land. I've heard what the doctor just said, and may I suggest using magic to help her instead."

The Baron then brought out a young man.

"Your highness, my name is Tolius. I'm a merchant for magic stones and also a wizard. I have something that could help save her. My magic may be weak, but if that could buy her some time, then..."

When the Prince heard his words, he immediately threw the doctor away and calmly went back to her side.

He stared at her with worried eyes, then grip her hands and said.

"Then, waste no time and fix her."

The mage stood in front of her without any more delay and took out a magic stone from his pocket.

"This stone is called the stone of life. While it can transfer energy to her and save her, it may cause severe pain to you as well."

The Prince gently lift her by the neck, and hold her in his arms, and said

"It doesn't matter. I'll endure anything as long as you can save her."

"But your highness, we can get others to do that. There is no need for you to..."

Before the Baron could finish his sentence, the Prince interrupted him and said

"No, she is my lover and my fiancée. Only I can do this for her."

After the Prince glanced back at the mage and gave him an ok, the mage then gently threw the stone above her, and it started floating in the air.

The stone created a small yellow light shining at both of them, and arrows' lights began to appear on the Prince's arm. Slowly the arrows flowed from his hands and into her body.

But before the spell was complete, the mage suddenly said

"It's no use. She is rejecting your energy. At this point, she will die before the spell can be complete."

The Prince let out a small laugh and look at her gently.

"Even at this point, you still push me away. But you are mine, Ivy. Don't you forget it."

The Prince then kiss her on the lips, forcing her to swallow down his energy.

While Ivy's wound began to heal, scars began to appear on his body.

Even while his body bleeds, he kept on kissing.

Even when he could feel the pain slowly increase, he could only think about <"Come back to me, Ivy, Please!>

And once her wound healed, suddenly the stone burst and a black force appeared and it pushed the Prince and the mage away.

"What is this?" They stared at the dark black figure next to her, and the sound of swords started swishing at them.

"Who are you?" The Prince asked as he tried to stand back up, "answer me immediately!"

The black figure ignores them. Instead, it approached Ivy closer.

The Prince immediately took out his sword and dashed towards them.

"Don't you dare touch her!"

But before he could get close, the black figure pushes him away with just holding out one hand.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk." the black figure said as he waves his finger at the prince.

Then he went over to Ivy's side and kissed her on her wound and said

"I'll come back for you, I promise."

Once he said those words, he immediately left the room without a trace and left everyone in a daze.

Soon after, the baron ordered the troops to search around the castle,

while the Prince stayed behind with the mage and checked on her.

"How is she?" The Prince asked as he checks her body for injuries.

"She is fine now, your highness, but..."

The mage showed a concerned look

"Speak"

"There were traces of magic within her. I sense that she too might be a mage among us."

"I've known her all my life, and she has never shown anything of a sort. She is just a normal girl, so just keep this between us."

"Yes, your highness."

Then the Prince touch the deep scar on her head.

"Is there nothing we can do about this scar?"

"Forgive me, your highness. My magic can only but do so much."

Then Ivy began to mumble again, "chicken noo, it's mine."

Seeing her making that usual face again made the Prince sigh in relief.

"—— it's fine, leave us."

And so everyone left the room with just both of them.

The Prince gently held her hands to his face dearly and looked at the sleeping Ivy.

"You look like you are just having another normal day. If only you knew how crazy you made me."

And while he saw her wound again, he recalled what the dark figure said.

"I'll come back for you, I promise."

He instinctively tightens his grip with anger and rage.

"I'll never let anyone take you away."

His tight grip unconsciously hurt her as her expression started to change, and so he immediately panics and lets her hand go.

Once her sleeping face went back to normal, the prince buried his face by her side.

"I must be crazy now, to think that I lost control."

After what had happened, the Prince was terrified of the idea of ever losing her.

So he made a decision that day.

As he carefully caresses her forehead and stroke her hair, he declared to her, and he said

"Ivy, I'm sorry, but I can no longer wait. Let's get married as soon as you are awake."

After the Sudden Proposal

The villainess of our story is currently in her room, staring into the air, sighing relentlessly.

"———Sigh, ok something just went horribly wrong."

My plan A: To avoid the Prince- Failed

My plan B: to break off the engagement- Failed

My plan C: To buy time, so that he would leave me naturally - BADLY FAILED!!!!!

Last night, Prince Leon proposed to me. Though in the end, I rejected him, he wasn't surprised and said he'll do something about it, which scares me when I heard him say it that way.

"But how did it turn out like this?

Before this, a confession and now a proposal?!"

What did I do wrong?

What?! What?!

I thought my plan was perfect!!!

Ivy scratches her head confusedly, trying to figure out what went wrong, but after a long struggle, her hard drive got fried, and so she finally gave up and just decided laid in bed.

As she laid there, staring at the ceiling, she decided to change her way of thinking.

"Ok, no point to dwell on past mistakes. Let's just move forward and think about this logically. What have we learned so far?"

And so she began to analyze the data she has in her head

"The moment I woke up, there is a scar on my head, and this could be part of the story because of what the author said."

- The greedy and rumored to bewitch, Ms. Ivy Augustine. -

"Well, I can't deny the greedy part. If it comes to money, I guess I can be a bit greedy. I can't say much about the witch rumor, though, and I'm pretty sure I don't have any magic powers. If not, I would have learned about it throughout my years as Ms.Augustine. So will people start calling me a witch just because of this scar? hmmm...."

Ivy took a minute to think about how she feels about being called a witch.

Conclusion - absolutely no concern whatsoever.

"For starters, most people already hate me because they are jealous that I'm their Prince Charming's Fiancée, and because of my lack of lady-like traits, they always bad-mouthed me behind my back and said that I'm not suited for him. Hmph! Not like I have a choice, either!"

Ivy folded her arms, getting pissed off for remembering all those years of being ignored and sometimes overhearing their baseless remarks on her.

"Well, even if I don't care about it, I still have to think about how this affects Mother and Father and also Gracie and the others. The rumors might trouble them if they stayed alongside me. I'll need to cover this scar somehow before the rumors start spreading."

Then Ivy took a small mirror by her table and looked at her scar again.

"Uwah, this scar is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. Seriously I wonder what exactly hit me?"

The scar looks like a crescent moon, placing on top of Ivy's left brow.

"Hmph!" Ivy sneered, "I knew the author s*ck. A moon shape scar on top of my left brow. Did he just watch Harry Potter or something? This is total plagiarism, B.S!"

When Ivy looked at her moon-shaped scar in the mirror, it reminded her of that night when the prince proposes to her.

- I've come to save you, my princess. Would you marry me? -

The scar felt like irony, as if the author is trying to tell her to know her place. That she is the moon, and he is the sun. They are not supposed to be in the same place.

Then Ivy let out a deep sigh again.

"But why is it that he suddenly wants to marry me? Did I do something? Or did something happen when I pass out? Even if something did happen, I can't think of anything that would make him act that way, and besides, I'm technically still fifteen!"

(Author: She is actually 15 years old, with 45 years of life experience. To be honest, it's not a bad thing unless you are the villainess.)

"Even if we were to marry, I still have to wait until my coming of age. So what is this boy saying? Should I even take his proposal seriously? And also..."

Ivy suddenly quiets down when an important question from her heart went to her mind.

" Do I want to marry him?"

She hugged her knees into her arms as she tries to think carefully.

At that moment, when the house fell, I realize that I love him.

However, to marry the prince is something I never would've even consider.

I never even think if there would be a possibility because the novel said that his true love is Princess Sophia and not me, and it's never going to me.

It's a hard known fact. So why? Why does he still want to marry me? Can I really?

But what if he still falls in love with Princess Sophia? I haven't been able to predict the whole story well. I know I won't harm the princess, but what if somehow or someway the story makes me look like I hurt her?

Then what? Will I become the villainess in the story where I love the prince too much and eventually face my death?!"

As Ivy's brain is facing overload due to the massive amount of questions in her head, she hit her CPU hard and then slapped her monitor again and again.

Then she immediately went in front of the mirror, and pointed at her reflection, and said

"Ms. Ivy Augustine, you are falling into a trap! You already know what lies ahead! So why are you making the same mistakes as the previous villainess?! Be realistic! Think straight! No matter what happens, you cannot marry the prince; you got plenty of reasons for that. So don't ever say yes!"

Yes, that is right. I don't have to overthink it. Feelings are unnecessary. Emotions are unnecessary. As long the storyline still runs, if I don't want to face my death, I just need to keep telling myself, I can never say yes.

Finally, when Ivy got her reasons back into her head, suddenly someone crashed in her bed.

Author:

Hi everyone, there was a few good feedback on my story lately. I've had so much fun writing this series that I try to upload one or two every day. I try not to make it to cliche and maybe a little bit more unpredictable for its fun, but forgive me for some cliche parts because I really cannot help it. I love what I love, after all.

Hope you like this chapter, TTFN ٩( 'ω' )و
