4 Episode 2: RED REBORN

[Earlier era, 159 years ago till the current timeline takes place]

Vince tried to open his eyes despite the crushing pain he is currently feeling. What he saw, was the thousands of stars shining in the sky. Beautiful, he thought. As he tried to drown himself from the scenery above him, forcing his mind to ignore the suffering and the blood that is now falling from his charred lips.

He is dying. He knew it too well. But he felt thankful that finally, God has decided to let him go.

Vince Flloyd. Though young, had experienced a lot of agony in his lifetime. He was born with two different eye colors. Left being crimson red, and the other a perfect azure blue. Because of his rare condition, he was thought of as a devil of the ignorant people he live amongst. He grew up lonesome, and only loved by his dear mother and siblings.

When he turned 15 however, a rich couple asked to adopt him in a promise of a better life. His mother, wanting the best for her first born, agreed though heart broken.

But it was all but lies...

Vince's teeth were sharpened, as the right side of his neck was punctured with two holes. They presented him to the public as a live caught vampire. They used him to earn more money and fame. And his experience there was too much for him to recall. He suffered this for four years. And when he was freed at 18, with the help of a politician, he ended up here, in the grass painted red by his own blood, just for helping a young lady from getting harrassed. Life was unfair. But death is equal. Near where he bleeds, is the already dead corpse of the man he had killed. At least, he thought, the lady he saved would live to tell his tale of heroism. So that his ill life...serve a purpose as he close his eyes, and take his final breath.

Unbeknownst to him, was Vixen, a 3000 year old red reaper, who had been assigned to collect his soul. When she went near to collect it, his soul glowed in a rather powerful shade of white. Vixen felt amazed. This soul, she thought, was worthy to become one of them.

The Divine Empress was summoned to check his soul. Having been moved by his short life story, she blessed him with immortality, to serve as one of her precious reapers.

And because of one of his eyes are red ( the right one ocean blue) also known as heterochromia in today's era, he was nicknamed Red by his fellow reapers due to such uniqueness. Perhaps his fondness of the color could also add an impact to why he was called that way.

He became close friends with Humility (A White Reaper) and Harry White (A Yellow Reaper)that later came after 20 years of Red's rebirth, and together they keep Tokyo void from lost and wandering souls.
