14 Episode 12: SAVE HER
RED: *covers ears*
UNKNOWN VOICE: Save her! Save her!
RED: Urgh! What is that?! *scar starts glowing violently*
*voices become distorted*
Red opens his eyes, and the next thing he knew, he was in Gabby's home. Watching her unconcious body sleeping soundly, beside her, was a jinx he knew all too well.
Red's face turned into a distasteful frown.
RED: How dare you...
JINKO: Oh, is this yours? My, my...but I thought I found her first. Either ways, she's still mine...
RED: Not because you're strong you can disrupt innocent lives just because you want to!
JINKO: She's special, you see...even I, a powerful being couldn't foretell when she'll pass... But she's quite special, don't you think? And I want her...so if you, value your soul...might as well leave this room...or perish to oblivion...
RED: You are so arrogant for belittling someone like me!
JINKO: Such a weakling...I only fear strong-
RED: *Attacks with his scythe* Stop talking. Start fighting.
JINKO: *quickly jumps off, got some of his feathers torn* You pest! What is wrong with you?! She's just one human! What is her to you?!! Surely you haven't interacted much!
RED: I do not know exactly why I wanted to protect her! But...if anything happens to her, I'll be sure to leave you flightless for all time...
JINKO: You brat! *flies quickly behind him in a speed unimaginable*
RED: *teleports further away*
JINKO: So...you are quite speedy like me, huh? Very well. Let's see how fast you really are...
RED: *Confused*
JINKO: When there's two on your tail...
RED: Huh?!
JINKO: *smirks* Jane would love to meet you, I'm sure...
*a black portal appears*
*a white woman with black hair and blue eyes appears*
JANE: My, my...Jinko. What a handsome foe you have here. Is he bothering you?
JINKO: Yes. Could you get rid of him quickly? I need time to carry this sleeping girl on our base...
JANE: Very we-
RED: *slashes with his scythe in quick motion* Would you quit with the drama?! If you're not fighting me square and fair...I'll end this as quickly too...argh! *eyes glow vividly, floor burns, walls burns, room melted in lava*
Note: only spirits are affected and the actual room is not affected, so as the sleeping Gabby :)
RED: You can't fly now...
JANE: Silly dragon, my wings are powerful enough to... *flaps wings* molt those lava...
JINKO: This is your end now. *the feathers that fell earlier suddenly harden and becomes taller, creating a mini prison for Red*
RED: What?! Ugh... I hate to say this and I have much to learn...so I'll go with plan B.
*wind stops, time stops, ground shakes*
*White butterflies appears in thin air, transforming into a petite looking male*
HUMILITY: I should have known you'd cause such a ruckus without me... You ignorant Jinx Agents. Using your power to keep this little girl. Tsk.
*glares*
JANE/JINKO: *gulps*
HUMILITY: You're lucky Red...I was just taking a short break... But I am very busy...and I have twenty more shifts to do. So I'll end it quickly. I'll end it very...quickly. Ten seconds, I tell you.
JANE/JINKO: *heart pounding*
JINKO: Well, we gotta fight back to show our honor.
JANE: Are you insane? Do you know how powerful this guy is?
JINKO: Yeah but he's have this soft side to him. He'll only break one wing...hopefully.
JANE: And that's still good news to you?!
JINKO: Better than evaporating into oblivion, right?
JANE: I should have never come with you!
HUMILITY: One...
JINKO: *tries to attack from behind*
HUMILITY: Two... *turns into butterflies and escapes Jinko's fist*
Jinko looses guard and Humility kicks him from behind...
HUMILITY: Three...
Jane gives a whirlwind to break Humility's footing but failed as butterflies began swarming to cover her vision.
HUMILITY: Four...
Humility transports to Jane's location and chops her down in a powerful impact.
HUMILITY: Five... *Humility's eyes glow and the molten lava began to disappear*
HUMILITY: Six...
HUMILITY: Seven...
*the wind began to swirl violently around the room, making it hard for the jinx agents to move*
HUMILITY: Eight...
Jane and Jinko tried to attack using their extra violent whirl wind, in hope to break Humility's defenses.
Humility's soon break. But an unimaginable number of butterflies attacked Jane and Jinko. The more they kill, the more explosions they receive.
HUMILITY: Nine...
A defeated state of Jane and Jinko were showed. Jinko carried Jane and together they beg Humility to escape.
HUMILITY: Ten...
*a portal leading to the outside of the room appears*
HUMILITY: Get out then...and never mess with Gabby again...
Jinko and Jane left without another word. Humility, who was so worried of the mortal, walked to her first before checking on Red.
RED: Ehem. Free me, I guess?
HUMILITY: Hmm...
*releases Red from the mini prison*
RED: I don't understand. Why are they so weak against you? I mean...why didn't they use this prison thing on you? Ya know? To conceal your powers and stuff?
HUMILITY: Because it would take two whole wings to create a prison for me...and even so, I could still use half my ability.
RED: Damn...you're too powerful.
HUMILITY: Learn to go back when it's not your fight. If I hadn't come here, you would have been gone...forever. Good thing you set aside your pride and called me.
RED: Yeah. And in the first place...I didn't know why I've ever come here. Or had a great urge to protect her.
HUMILITY: You're truly a young reaper...she, had the same soul of the girl you saved when you're still alive. Both you and her are linked... And your urge to protect her...is still strong.
RED: Wow...I wish I have that kind of eyes too.
HUMILITY: It will take a thousand decades to have these.
RED: Yeah...that sucks. But um...should I really protect her? I mean...I'm busy too.
HUMILITY: You do. She's your responsibility now. I shouldn't have erased her memories so being close to her won't be difficult.
RED: You what?!
HUMILITY: Oh don't act violently like that. You can talk to her first. Then explain the situation. I'm sure after a week or so, you'll be friends.
RED: Oh. How about my shifts?
HUMILITY: I'll still give you three shifts per day. Just make sure she's always safe.
RED: But if it's truly her time?
HUMILITY: You're no strong reaper to stop death itself. You'll know when it's her time.
RED: Thanks I guess...
HUMILITY: And by the way...you won't go to our realm from now on. Well, if unnecessary and unneeded. You have to be here most of your time until that human dies. Keep a eye on her 24/7. Keeping a kind soul safe, is your priority now.
RED: Eh?
HUMILITY: Oh come on. She's not that bad. Even for my standard, she's more prettier than an average angel. But of course, my Carrie is prettier.
RED: Alright, alright. You go ahead then. Quit flexing your chic too. But what if the jinxis come back?
HUMILITY: Learn to love her more. That'll lend you power.
RED: Huh???
HUMILITY: When you love someone enough, your power to protect them...bends the laws of the universe, and would enable you to defeat anything...
RED: Huh? Is that even a thing?
HUMILITY: Just kidding. Just do your best. I just did it because you're so serious. My way to lighten up the mood. In reality, love just doesn't make you win all the time.
