"I didn't know the city Guards were so powerful!" Xuan Yuan said to his Mother, who was placing breakfast on the dining table.

"Gold Path city's Guards were Tier 2 Masters, it's normal to see those players beaten to pulp, even if they were led by a Tier 1 expert" Xue Yao commented.

"It'd have been a different if they were led by a Tier 3 King instead" She continued.

"You know so much about the game, Mother" Xuan Yuan said suspiciously.

"I already did my research before letting you play" She replied

"Oh! tell me more"

"I can't, you should experience it yourself"

"Humph!! You won't even share tips with your Son, are you even my Mother?"

"Why would I share tips with you? I'd consider doing so if you paid!"

Xuan Yuan ate breakfast and headed to school. On the way, he couldn't think straight. There was something he felt when he fought with Red Lava yesterday and wanted explanation for it. But he couldn't pinpoint where to begin. He casted everything out of his mind as he entered the school.

It's been less than 24 hours but it felt like days have passed. Students chatted up and down about the latest reality game.

"I've reached Level 9 but I can't just reach Level 10. I've been grinding for 9 hours yet I'm still stuck at 55% of level 9"

"I'm already level 10 and I've migrated to the city. I've even joined the Scorching Sun Guild"

"Really, I heard the Guild Leader of Scorching Sun Guild is a Tier 1 expert"

"Yeah, when I level up too I'd challenge my promotion quest and reach Tier 1!!"

Students boasted of their achievements to their friends. It was hard to imagine that a reality game caused so much sensation all over the world.

Currently, Guilds are now withdrawing from other games and focused on the Realm of Spirituality. Even International companies are investing in the game causing intense competition all over.

The various Powers are trying hard to overthrow their rivals and rule the game. It is speculated that this ordinary reality game might become worldwide in the future as the Temporal rule of 1:3 is enough to make ordinary people go crazy. No corporation or Power is willing to let go of that fat piece of meat...

Xuan Yuan entered the class quietly and no one noticed him until a guy suddenly shouted.

"Hey! Dumb Yuan, don't tell me you're also playing the Realm of spirituality!" A short guy named Xingyao shouted as Xuan Yuan took his seat.

"Are dumb guys allowed to enter?" Another chipped in.

"Even if they are allowed, he won't play. If I ever meet him in game I'll kill him back to the beginner town!"Another declared.

And that's how Xuan Yuan became the topic of sarcastic remarks all over the class!

"Stop bullying him will you?" A female voice shouted. It was Bai Qingyuan, one of the few people who was friendly with him. Qingyuan had been attending the school since day one and even Xuan Yuan met her in class. She was the class president and the only person who took it upon herself to defend Xuan Yuan. Although there are some people who never bully him, they still don't get too close with him. Only Bai Qingyuan often interacted with him but not too close either.

"Alright, Mrs. Xuan we will shut up" Someone said and the whole class erupted in laughter.

Bai Qingyuan didn't pay attention to that and simply went to Xuan Yuan.

"Are you alright?" asked Bai Qingyuan

"I'm good" Xuan Yuan replied

"Do you also play the Realm of spirituality?" She continued and Xuan Yuan nodded.

"Oh! I play too, my in game ID is Fairy Lotus, how about you?"

"Sage Xuan"

"I'm in Jade Spear city currently, have you completed the Migration quest yet?"

"Yeah, I'm also in Jade spear city"

"Okay, I'll add you as a friend later, maybe we can play together" Bai Qingyuan smiled

"See you in game, Sage Yuan"

"OK Miss Fairy Lotus" Xuan Yuan said and they both smiled...

2:00PM

All the students smiled excitedly at themselves as they glanced at the watch. It's closing time and time to return to the game.

But their smiles froze instantly!

"Why is the bell not ringing?" The students wondered...

The students were at their wit's end when even after 5 minutes and the bell still didn't ring. Some were already grumbling angrily and glancing at the spot where the Timekeeper rings the bell but it's empty!

Only after about 10 mins past Two when the students almost flown into a rage did they hear the sound of the bell. They cheered loudly and escaped the same way they left previously.

The Timekeeper shuddered involuntarily as he watched how the students flocked out like frightened hares out of the school.

'If they knew the bell was delayed because I slept off, they will stump my head with their shoes!'

At the thought of that, the Timekeeper quickly slipped away to avoid the Students' queries...

Xuan Yuan arrived home and quickly did his chores, faster than how he did the previous day. Once he's done, he stuffed some bread into his mouth and wore the console reentering the game.

In Jade spear city, Xuan Yuan appeared at the Teleportation hall like a ghost. He left the hall quickly and entered the main street.

'Wow! this feels good!' He exclaimed as he breathed in some mouthfuls of air.

'Compared to this city, the town looks like trash' He thought as he watched the hustles and bustles in the city with the tall buildings...
