Chapter 2: The Meeting Of A Princess

'Well it's been a few days, I'll be arriving in a hour or so.' Tian Lu thought to himself about what he would do if something bad were to happen.

"Well for now I'll just need focus on getting to the ceremony and hoping for the best that I turn around without any conflicts, speaking of the ceremony I think it's being held inside the Xiang Shu Palace." While Tian Lu was lost in thought there was a vehicle behind him.

"HEY BRAT, MOVE ASIDE THE PRINCESS IS COMING THROUGH!" The Man in a green robe yelled at Tian Lu.

Tian Lu lost his thought process when he heard the yell of the old man. He turned around and saw a short, stumpy, an untrimmed bearded man.

'Ugh and his spit is going everywhere, I'll just have to deal with it for now.' Tian Lu thought as he moved aside. 'Hmmm? He also said a Princess though I don't remember any Princesses leaving the Slums, whatever probably a Princess from another City or Country.'

While Tian Lu kept thinking about how he would get into The Palace since it was known to snap people's legs and throw them far into The Slums a Women from behind him called him.

"Little Brother where are you headed?" When Tian Lu turned around he saw that it was who he assumed to be The "Princess" though he wondered why she asked him where he is going.

"I'm heading towards the Xiang Shu Palace, I'm gonna take part in the ceremony, though I don't really want to win." Once Tian Lu said this he also realized that he could be killed if anyone who desperately wanted to win was encountered.

"Oh? You are a interesting case." The "Princess" thought about it. 'Should I take him? It wouldn't hurt.' And so The "Princess" decided.

"Little Brother do you want to come with me? It must hurt to walk on your feet." The "Princess" said with a happy smile on her face.

Tian Lu thought about it and decided to go ahead and take up on the offer, but he also decided to see whether or not she was real.

"Lady- I mean "Princess" are you a real one or not?" Tian Lu hesitated while asking this question he knew it could end up bad for him.

"YOUNG FOOLISH BOY, THOUGH WE ARE ALONE ON THE ROAD YOU DARE TO TRY AND MAKE US LOSE FACE WHEN WE ARE ONE OF THE ROYAL FAMILIES?" The Old Man yelled at Tian Lu.

"Uncle Zhao at least let him explain." The "Princess" sighs as if this wasn't the first time.

"Alright then. Explain yourself." Zhao said.

"Uh- well you see I'm just a country bumpkin, I didn't know you were a Prestigious Family I hope you accept my apology." Tian Lu said bowing towards The Princess.

"Rise, let's keep it non-formal, what's your name Little Brother?" The Princess asked.

"Oh my name is Tian Lu, and your name?" Tian Lu spoke with the utmost caution, one wrong move and Gods couldn't see this happening.

"I am Tamura Shibata, and my Uncle here is Zhao Sanoe a branch family member and we rule over The City Istanu" Tamura said to Lu.

"Well that's interesting, never once would I have the luck to meet a Princess. Also I am sorry if I am being rude to you in anyway." Tian Lu tried to hide the shakiness in his voice because he still didn't believe in this kind of kindness coming from a Noble.

"It's okay Little Brother Lu for now just sleep," Tamura spoke gently while looking at Lu.

'The more I hear and look at hear the more I see that she is different from many other Noble's I have seen, I'm tired so might as well go to sleep too.' As Tian Lu said this he fell asleep, not even another word coming from his lips.
