1 Beginning

It was late at night, and I was so tired that I was afraid that if I closed my eyes for a second I would fall asleep, but I couldn't do it as I had to correct the homework that I assigned to my students.

Sometimes I wondered if assigning homework would do any good since most of them copied it and didn't even try to hide it or didn't mind getting caught.

As I was finishing the last assignment to be corrected, I heard a voice behind me "Hey".

I turned and saw a middle-aged man with a face with a full beard and regal air. Surprised I said, "Who are you and what are you doing in my house".

The man with a bored air replied "Who I am you shouldn't care about, what you should care about is that you are chosen as a new divine pastime".

Hearing what the man said I gasped in confusion and fear, but after a few seconds I recovered and grabbed the lamp that lit up my desk to use it as a weapon, and told the man trying to sound threatening "Leave now or I'll call the police".

The man laughed and said "oh how afraid i am, put that lamp down you look ridiculous, and in any case, I have no time to waste with you so goodbye"

After having finished speaking, the man raised his hand and a strong light filled my vision, hurting my eyes.

I don't know how much time has passed, but when I opened my eyes I saw that I was no longer in my room, but I was in an alley.

Surprised and confused, I looked for the man who was probably the cause of my apparent teleportation, but I didn't see anyone in the alley I started to panic "Fuck, fuck fuck, okay calm first thing to do is figure out where I am and then try to go home"

After I calmed down I started walking towards the end of the alley when with a breath of wind a newspaper page flew straight into my face "oh come on it can't be that I'm so unlucky"

Irritatedly removing the newspaper page from my face, I accidentally read a piece of the page "Anthony Stark kidnapped during a demonstration of the latest weapon produced by Stark Industries in Afghanistan."

When I finish reading my brain freezes for maybe two or three minutes realizing the information I have read "Shit" I said.
