2 The strange blossom

"The frequent turns of the road in the hills is making me unwell", was a sudden response of Christine. The next thing they knew Jason stopped the car before the immediate turn.

They all got out and Christine tried to walk a few steps to get some air .

"The acid in your stomach is making you sick, eat something it would make you feel better."

And as she took the water bottle she couldn't help but blush and smile and thank Jason. That eye contact made them more than just strangers then.

They all wandered around for a while there,

" I haven't seen Macey so happy in a long while, they look great together!" Christine randomly told Jason.

"Yeah they do. Are you feeling any better now ?" Jason looked straight at her and she simply got stuck to that look. They both liked this hint of connection that was building between them.

"Well I actually do feel better. I think we should go ahead now." she replied as she tried hard to take her eyes away from his.

"Hey Charlie! let's go!" shouted Jason.

"Watch out!", shouted Jason to Christine when he lurched towards her to save her from the car that was coming towards her in full speed.

They both fell tossing on the road like leaves flying with the summer breeze.

"Are you fine?!" they both asked eachother together.

Jason was holding Christine tightly by the shoulders , " You can let go now I'm okay.Thankyou " she said to him.

As they turned their heads towards the car they saw Macey standing shocked while Charlie was running towards them both.

"what just happened!!!??? are you two alive and not injured!!??"

Jason still held onto Christine's hand as he told Charlie they both were safe.

Macey was in tears as she saw them all walk towards her.

They all finally began their journey again.

This time Charlie took the wheels, Christine and Macey were consoling eachother.

They were just a few kilometres away from the hotel when Christine turned to her window side to only realise that a familiar pair of eyes were looking at her constantly.

A question or concern, she couldn't really figure that out but did end up staying in that invisible contact for longer than before.

"Umm..guys I think we lost the way. Can someone put the navigation on please." said Charlie.

" if you take a U turn from here and go approximately 20kilometres back I think we can find the hotel somewhere there." Jason informed him.

"How many times have you been here exactly !?" blurted Macey.

"A couple of times actually. But it was always planned." winked Jason.

"And never alone ofcourse!", Christine snapped those words and immediately realised she said them out loud.

She saw Jason smile as soon as she said that and missed it in seconds when they both had already started teasing and taunting her .
