146 Its raining *Bombs* hallelujah!
Thousands upon thousands of people were unloaded on a specific dock at the edge of Atlantis, the hubbub mind-numbingly loud as people laughed, cheered, shouted, exclaimed and frustrated whined.
In this crowd was a woman dressed in a pure white dress with a white fur scarf dangling around her neck, the outline of her figure enticing everyone around and leading to numerous situations where men would try to come up and harass her. These attempts were foiled however as one of her bodyguards interceded and usually smacked each person who was daring enough.
Her face had an ethereal quality to it that made most people entranced from a single glance, she was the exact definition of seductress.
'I wonder how this Emelia will react, being invited to the Hellfire club... Should i leave and go along with her?' The woman gazed at the crowds surrounding her, her powers slightly washing past the minds of the other people gathered. Hope, wishes, salvation and curiosity were some of the thoughts and emotions she picked up as she waited like everyone else on this large expansive dock yard.
There were some people she had spotted trying to leave the main area but they failed very quickly as shields were placed around the entire dock, transparent shields. The woman frustratingly stood waiting for several minutes as the apes around her all tried to get a touch of her skin and body. Finally, after but a few minutes more of waiting a woman appeared in front of the thousands of people.
"My name is Skadi! It is nice to meet you all! I see you have all come to either move here or contact our nation, please leave all questions in your minds for a little while. Those who would like move into Atlantis please go to the to my right!" she indicated the direction they have to move if they were interested in that.
The woman squinted her eyes slightly, an intrusive thought wanting to make her go over to the migrating group. She was stuck in a sticky situation as on one hand she had the necessity to help the Hellfire Club on the other she had her own intuition yelling at her to live there. Being a woman that had survived many a disaster she quickly abandoned the mission originally given to her by Shaw and moved over to the migrating side.
"Yay! Now, those that are left in the middle or to the left, i will assume you are here to establish contact and possible deals... Please follow this little guy until they stop." Many of the people who she was now talking to were men dressed in business suits and Government Officials from several nations. A small replicator moved out from behind Skadi and began walking in the opposite direction of the immigrants, beckoning to the people to follow.
"Now, thank you all for choosing my sister's nation as your home... We acknowledge that it will be hard for you to transition your knowledge and skills to the level of this city but we are here to assist in that, once you have proven yourself to be of moral sufficiency, educated and capable members of society."
Skadi continued, her movement becoming more animated with time.
"We will now begin to test you all, children will be automatically accepted due to the fact they have not yet spent enough time to actually develop most of the criteria we are looking for... These tests include a standard IQ test, EQ test and a variety of moral questions and situations which you will all have to navigate through. Finally, when you have passed all of these tests you will have a small education test to make sure that you understand common sense, math, science and your various languages. If you pass all of these you will be accepted into Atlantis as an official Citizen and become a Lantean."
The woman dressed in white wasn't necessarily impressed by the tests and thought they were rather simple, the groups around her thinking the same as they nodded at Skadi's words.
"Good! Now that that is over, please follow me to meet your first test!"
...
Whilst the thousands of Legal Immigrants were undergoing entry tests, Aurélie was currently sitting on the control chair nearest to the control tower, her form given the ancient gene by Emelia for this express purpose over the few days they had been planning.
Her 'brain' was currently linked in with the chair control system, her thoughts being interpreted by the chair with alacrity as numerous drone silos' covers opened, revealing the screw-like shape of the tubes that drones would come from. A map of the entire earth transmitted to her mind as the activation signal for the drones began to be transmitted. On the map were numerous location dotted in red, locations of targets her mistress had identified for her.
"Hehe, this is gonna be so fun! 😁" Hundreds of Drones started to glow in the storage tubed below the city before racing out and upwards towards the outside world. She could hear the buzzing noise of the drones as they weaved in and around each other, each drone destined for a separate target. She had decided to send one volley and follow it up with two more drones in thirty seconds, just to be sure.
The sky was bathed in the bright rays of the sun, a gentle wind softly caressing the ocean around the city. This was all disrupted moments later as a dance of firefly-like projectile danced out of the cities' structures and began to disperse in all directions, a buzzing sound following in their wake as countless warning alarms went off in every country across the planet.
The drones were way too fast, superseding the speed of sound by a hundred times over. Each drone was deftly guided and moved through hinderances and blockages, one even going so far as to dodge the entirety of a cities' skylines and strike a specific location. Hundreds of moderate nuclear-looking explosions rocked the world's people. Hundreds of targets had been destroyed as the Earth became a molten slag from the temperature of the strikes. Many militaries empties their air forces into the skies as the threat of imminent destruction scared the politicians and military.
On the west coast of the USA it was a normal day for many military personnel as countless men began and ended training exercises, seal teams dripping water as they miserably walked towards the debriefing location where they would have to listen to some annoying shmuck talk for several minutes on end about how well everyone did. That was the case until Sirens were blasted from every corner of the docks and base, people looking around stunned before running towards the armoury of the base. Men and Women close to the armoury quickly opened it and started distributing firearms as more and more soldiers got to them. Their efforts were in vain however as a yellow light sped in from the ocean, darting side to side and through the water every so often as it practically blitzed through the entirety of the outside defences of the base and landed right into the dock, a destroyer being retrofitted in said dock. With an immense and sundering explosion the entire dock began to crumble and dilapidate before their very eyes, the destroyer's hull cracking in half and taking on water as the entire dock began to slip into the sea. A wave of air thrust in all directions followed by a heat wave that began to melt steel within short distance and definitely melted a few people. The base was crippled and fear was spreading as ten seconds later another two missiles swarmed into the dock and sundered it truly.
"HAHAHA! THIS IS WHAT YOU GET FOR HURTING OUR FAMILY!"
Aurélie cackled as she ordered a few more drones to cripple airbases around the west coast of America. Countless drones would be fired this day, crippling almost everyone's militaries for the foreseeable future, a new paradigm ushering itself unto the planet through sheer force and firepower.
