"Please step inside the red line as the test will be started in a few moments." A neutral and flat robot-like voice sounded in the room.

Hearing it, Liu Guanyi did as the voice told and stepped past the red line that stretched just near the entrance of the room.

Suddenly, a few big fish appeared in the middle of the room out of the blue. They had a black glossy color that reflected light when it touched their scales.

Their eyes were round and big as they stared at him without any emotional undulation in their eyes, only pure focus to destroy him driven by whatever the Workshop had programmed them to be.

Their jaws were big, and their teeth were sharp and rock-solid, ready to pierce his flesh and turn him into a little snack. With their number and armored scales, they weren't something that could be taken lightly even to an experienced group of D-ranked regulars.

"Now, regulars, defeat all the enemies before you can continue to the next floor!" The voice resounded again.

When the voice had disappeared, the metallic fish didn't wait anymore as they swam quickly toward Liu Guanyi from many directions, intending to surround him to restrict his mobility and to prevent any chances to escape from the clutch of their jaws.

Liu Guanyi didn't move from his spot, spreading his feet quite apart and keeping his stance low as he waited for the fish to approach him themselves.

One of the metallic fish opened his jaw as it was already right in front of him, ready to swallow him to pieces.

Liu Guanyi responded to it with a basic yet effective strike, a fast straight punch on its head right between its two eyes, sending it flying away crashing against the walls of the room.

Then, Liu Guanyi smoothly transitioned his position as he sent a backhand at the fish behind him, easily breaking its armored scales and sending it colliding against its own ally.

However, the fish didn't back down as they completely surrounded him and attacked him at the same time, not giving him the chance of respite. Each of the fish shot at him, swirling like a rapid torpedo in the water.

Exhaling his breath, Liu Guanyi looked at them calmly as his body moved like a gust of wind, sending a swift strike at every single of them in an instant, stopping their attacks and breaking their bones apart like a twig as every single of them fell to the ground motionless at the same time.

"Congratulation, regulars, you are eligible to proceed to the next floor and continue your journey." The voice came out to congratulate his victory.

Liu Guanyi didn't feel glad nor did he want to rejoice.

They already stayed on the train for more than three months, and his team already managed to reach the 37th floor. With the test done, they would be able to stay on the Hell Train as it soon would reach the 38th floor.

To them, the tests on the Hell Train were nothing, even Bloomer, the gigantic guardian, was much stronger than most of the monsters here in the train, and Xin could kill it with ease, let alone for Liu Guanyi and Adori.

Overall, nothing possessed any threat to them, that was the reason they had once again, separated to explore the train more efficiently to get the evidence that would uncover the secret between the relationship of the Workshop and the ten great families.

This was an easy opportunity after all, and Liu Guanyi wouldn't want to waste the chance to get a glean of important inside information about the mysterious Workshop and the influential ten great families, especially since both of them were the powerhouses in the tower.

Adori and he had reached a tacit understanding, and Xin without hesitation agreed to help him. Although, just like Adori, he was also curious about what kind of history had been created here, between the Workshop and the leaders of the ten great families?

Unfortunately, three months and two floors had passed, and they still hadn't found anything even after scouring hundreds of sections and rooms of the Hell Train.

Although it was disheartening, they were still in high spirits as there were still a few months away and five floors left. It was alright, Liu Guanyi didn't expect it to be so easy after all.

Liu Guanyi walked out of the room and continued his usual exploration of the train. He always explored the train in the daytime and rested in the nighttime. Exploring in nighttime was useless since the rooms moved all the time so he had to be satisfied with this arrangement.

If only his team had a "Guide", someone capable of knowing and predicting the "Paths" in the tower with the power of the guardians, this problem would have been much easier. They were special and rare so it was very unlikely.

Well, Adori said that she would get one guide as one of the benefits of being the princess of Zahard, though that was only after she became a Ranker so that wasn't anything helpful anytime soon.

Although being a princess of Zahard really had some nice perks attached to the position, no wonder those greedy as* members of the ten great families were competing harshly for it.

As Liu Guanyi kept thinking of many things on his head while continuing traveling, he suddenly stopped on a long and spacious path that was quite different from those he had passed through many times and stopped his wandering mind to observe it.

'Hmm? Is this some kind of a secret path that leads to somewhere special?' Liu Guanyi pondered as he felt some sort of attraction to the path.

'Let's see it first, maybe my luck finally bloomed again after running out for years. Or is it destiny?' Thought Liu Guanyi with mixed feeling as he decided to follow the path.

Even if the path led to somewhere dangerous that even the strongest D-ranked regular couldn't hope to survive, he was confident to be able to deal with whatever would pop up on the way.

Liu Guanyi had that technique that would boost his power immensely, and he was confident that he would even be able to kill a Ranker with it as long as he had the benefit of a surprise and the Rankers were just the average Rankers that usually gave tests to regulars, not an advanced Ranker.

Quickly moving to the end of the passage, Liu Guanyi found a circular platform around five meters in diameter. It emitted a bluish glow that lightened the dark environment, making it appear standing out in the spacious passage.

Approaching closer, Liu Guanyi touched the platform as he tried to guess what it was. "What's this? It's quite similar looking to those teleporting devices used to move up to higher floors.'

'Hmm, it seems that passage truly leads to somewhere interesting, let's recall them here.' Liu Guanyi decided to send his teammates a message to come over.

It was better to face whatever what was likely a warping pad led to somewhere together, than being separated alone.
