Adori's talk was interrupted by the sudden shout. They quickly turned to see the one who had interrupted their conversation. As they appeared close to them, they could finally see them clearly.

There were five of them.

A little girl with gray hair in a cute green dress, a tall and muscular man with two long fangs coming out of his mouth, a slant-eyed man with a smile on his face, a yellow-haired man with glasses, and lastly, a man with long, green hair sitting on top of a big and fierce-looking tiger.

The tiger was two times larger than their kind's usual size. It had two long, big, and sharp fangs that elongated from its mouth could which could even pierce steel.

However, it wasn't the tiger that stood out the most. It was the man on top of it as he grinned widely, showing his sharp teeth like the ones felines had.

"A Lo Po Bia family member, the top second team?" Adori wondered after seeing their appearance.

"Well, I see that you are well informed about our information. I guess I should have expected at least this much from you, Princess." The green-haired man on top of the tiger spoke. Derision and sarcasm were obvious from his tone.

Adori didn't respond and continued to face him indifferently. Seeing that his words didn't affect her as expected, his mouth curled up into a smile.

"I guess you're always calm, huh. Maybe that's what made you manage to become a princess?" He continued to speak with sarcasm.

When Liu Guanyi heard his sarcasm, a realization hit him. 'Hmm, did he say become? It seems what Adori has spoken is true.'

'Now, let's take a peek at how the high nobles behave and position themselves in the tower.' He pondered at the situation in front of him without doing anything.

What? This wasn't his problem, it was the Lo Po Bia's and Adori's problem.

Butting up in another people's business wasn't wise, especially if they didn't know the full picture. They would simply make the problem worse and end up with the shortest stick.

This was the case especially against the ten great families' main descendants. Liu Guanyi didn't know if anything happened to them, whether the family would give a strong response or not. So it was better for Adori, who was a princess of Zahard, to deal with the problem.

The man saw Liu Guanyi on the side and raised his brows. "Who's this princess, your companion huh? It seems that you choose him based on his looks."

"Did you forget what will happen if you try to step outside the boundary?" He said with an annoying and provocative smirk plastered on his face.

Adori didn't fall into his provocations and calmly stared with a cold, piercing stare at his face. "Is there anything left that you want to say?" Adori said as she emanated a dangerous presence.

All of them instinctively stepped back as even the tiger growled at her with all of its furs raised tensely. Well, except the little girl as she seemed to innocently look around, confused about what just happened.

"I guess you are truly a princess of Zahard, to be able to scare my tiger with your aura." He said calmly, but it seemed that his eyes betrayed his voice as there were wariness and a little fear inside them, unlike a few moments before.

"It looks like your animal instincts know better who you ought not to mess with. You aren't even the best among E-ranked regulars why would you appear before me?" Adori said calmly as she saw right through him.

The Lo Po Bia managed to withstand her pressure and chuckled. "Who's to say that I have ever been serious and showed all my cards? Let's just see who can get the grand prize in the battle, I'll wait for you in the final, princess."

"Let's go guys we have finished our business here!"

The Lo Po Bia put the little girl on the back of the tiger, and all of them turned back and quickly walked away. Soon, they were gone from their sight.

"You said that they weren't going to fight us since the Lo Po Bia family is a loyal supporter of the Zahard family?" Liu Guanyi spoke with some curiosity.

Adori was intelligent, she was rarely wrong in many cases. However, it looked like she was way off the mark this time around.

Adori nodded lightly and didn't deny it. "As I said before, the Zahard family is much more complicated than what it appears on the surface. There's only a single person who's truly a member and also the head of the family, king Zahard himself."

"Wait, does this mean?" Liu Guanyi exclaimed in surprise.

"Yes, all of the princesses of Zahard, including me are only adopted to the family." Adori casually said that.

However, even though she spoke calmly, the impact of this information was huge for Liu Guanyi. This meant that Adori and all of the royal family members weren't as important as he thought, no wonder that guy dared to act like that.

Still, though, that was a bit odd. Even if there were no Zahard family members who inherited the king's blood, they still had to be respected since disrespecting them was the same as disrespecting the Zahard Empire as a whole.

"King Zahard is different from his companions, the ten great family leaders. He never touched a woman and has no interest in marrying one so he naturally doesn't have any descendants."

"However, a very long time ago, a system of princesses was made to raise talented girls from the ten great families or any girl who has the qualifications to be one." Explained Adori.

"The Zahard family created a competition for the chosen candidates every a hundred years to select the best girl among them as the princess of Zahard and grant her a part of his power."

"Because a long time has passed since then and people in the tower could live for thousands of years or longer, if they manage to become Rankers, there will be a lot of princesses of Zahard."

"Since there are many princesses, there is a lot of inner conflicts and competitions among them, especially if the king himself has created and even encouraged those conflicts and competitions." Adori patiently explained the long story.
