Adori's sword struck Liu Guanyi, enveloping him in crisscrossing white lights, as suddenly, a massive, long, and beautiful streak of white came out of the sword that quickly climbed and covered his body.

It was unnervingly similar to strands of pale roses that climbed over an object.

The white streak shinned in a blinding white. It became so blinding that it swallowed both of their figures, and a powerful explosion occurred, sending sharp shockwaves that cut the surrounding area.

When the light dimmed and the explosion calmed down, their figure could finally be seen again.

Adori exhaled a breath softly, the previous powerful attack had drained some of her energy. Even though she was a princess of Zahard and was very powerful in her ranks, she was still a regular in the end so her energy was very limited, especially if she were to make such powerful attacks.

She looked at her hand and saw that from the previously intact sword, now only the handle was left in her hands.

Considering how much power she had forced the sword to bear, Adori knew that it couldn't be helped as it was only a cheap and common sword not even worth mentioning, so at least she didn't mind losing it.

Looking ahead, Adori could see Liu Guanyi's figure standing calmly a dozen of meters away from her with his eyes looking back at her.

His clothes were torn in many places, however, there were nothing more than some shallow vine-like scratches on his body.

And as Adori squinted her eyes, she could witness that they were already closing up, something of a miracle as not even the best of the Ha family could do it. His skin and muscles wriggled and moved closer to each other, and finally merged again, closing the wounds.

Such ability was beyond whatever Adori had seen thus far. And as she sensed it, it wasn't a result of any shinsu control since she didn't she any flow of shinsu flowing into the wounds.

However, knowing that it was Liu Guanyi, Adori could only accept what she saw.

His vitality was ridiculous, she knew it well after seeing it in person a couple of times. However, it wasn't as powerful as of right now, it was clear that Liu Guanyi had improved significantly.

Even with such a powerful attack, only a little managed to pierce his defense and damage him, which to his overwhelming vitality, didn't do anything as his abnormal regeneration kicked in so Adori basically dealt almost no damage.

However, even if Liu Guanyi could use a shinsu control that could heal himself and unable to be perceived, it shouldn't be able to heal wounds that quickly as even Adori was far cry from achieving that.

Adori had heard of some people who achieved that feat and found out that only those very talented few could use shinsu to heal to such an extent, and Adori knew that Liu Guanyi wasn't among those very few.

Hence, there was only one possibility, his regeneration wasn't an effect of shinsu but from his own body's vitality.

That attack was one of her strongest attacks, Adori had put a lot of her energy into it. If that attack didn't work out, there was only one choice for her… to put her all in this fight.

Adori lifted both her hands and made a motion as if her hands were grabbing something. White-colored shinsu came out of her hands and quickly morphed into a sword.

It was a simple pristine white sword without any ornaments.

The blade stretched as long as ninety centimeters. Despite its simplicity, it had something special that distinguished it from the other swords, the powerful pressure and daunting aura it emitted that sent everyone around shaking in fear.

However, Liu Guanyi was unfazed by the sword. Instead, he looked at it calmly and spoke. "Oh, you have finally decided to be serious? Well, I guess I have to be a bit serious myself. Let's me see the best you can, Adori."

Adori didn't speak and only nodded in response.

This was a sword that was made purely from her shinsu, a special technique to those who were experienced in Arie Swordsmanship. The power and strength of the sword were entirely dependent on its user as it was the culmination of their experience and understanding of the sword.

Using this technique was incredibly taxing as it consumed a lot of energy to maintain, the more powerful it was, the more energy it would consume.

And honestly, there was only one reason to use the technique, to maximize the user's offensive power, if not, they could simply use the usual shinsu strengthening to encase their sword.

This was why Adori rarely used it when she had already mastered the technique, it was just too taxing to use it regularly.

Even now, Adori couldn't sustain this sword for long. But, at the very least, she could use much better after the long and harsh training she had been doing over the years.

That was why she needed to conclude this fight quickly, if not, Liu Guanyi would simply win when the exhaustion would eventually overtake her body.

Arie Sword Style: Fluttering Orchid Petals!

Adori closed the gap between them, and slashed her sword in the air repeatedly, creating more than ten sword slashes in an instant.

Each of the slashes was bigger, faster, and sharper than her previous ones as they cut straight through the air and flew toward Liu Guanyi.

Deciding to take the fight more seriously, Liu Guanyi didn't just passively defend. He covered his hands in blue shinsu and pushed his palm in the air toward the incoming sword attacks.

Using his powerful physical ability and combining his shinsu control technique and martial style, he showed a rare combination of martial and shinsu skills used only by martial fighters in the tower.

Shinsu Control Style & Martial Art: Tiger Airwave!

A roar of a tiger resounded as a powerful air shockwave and shinsu ejected from his palm, clashing against the sword slashes midair, creating a chaotic whirlwind that swept the surrounding area.

Both of the attacks tried to overpower each other but finally dissipated after they managed to consume one another.

In this time, Adori used it to close their distance and appear in his flank. She brandished her shinsu blade and delivered a few quick attacks.

Liu Guanyi blocked each of them with his bare hands and palms, leaving many shallow lacerations on his hands. Her attacks weren't really effective as he quickly matched her rythmn

Before he made his counterattack, Adori kicked his body to launch herself away, creating a gap that prevented his counterattack.

Liu Guanyi quickly gave a chase. However, Adori was already prepared as her sword lit up brightly. She swung her sword and clashed against his fists, creating a blinding bright light between them.

Adori didn't directly let her sword directly clash against his fist since she knew she couldn't hold a handle against his power. Rather, she avoided his direct attacks and redirected his attacks with her nimble footwork, using his own power to bolster the momentum of her counterattack.

Even so, Adori didn't make any big swings or power slash. She didn't want to be overly aggressive and put herself into great risk of exposing herself that would give Liu Guanyi and opportunity to strike back.

Adori knew that her attacks thus far had been nothing to him as indicated with his calm and relaxed face. Moreover, it wasn't like he was losing the melee. Rather, she felt that he was trying to bait her to overextend herself in her assault.

The two continue to exchange and trade a flurry of blows as they constantly moved around in the surroundings. Like a beautiful yet lethal dance, both of them immersed and enjoyed themselves in the dance as they tried to outdo one another.

Adori's sword attacks were much stronger and lethal than before as they were able to cut deeply into Liu Guanyi's flesh and immediately seared it with the flaming white shinsu. While it wasn't really effective as she had hoped, at least her efforts had worked somewhat.

But the same applied to Liu Guanyi, at a greater effect, in fact. Even if just one of his attacks landed on her body, it would create a huge impact in the duel.

It was a simple difference in sheer strength. Adori couldn't afford to take any hits anymore. The first attack had badly damaged one of his hands, receiving another one would mean that she had lost the fight.

After a fierce melee for a few minutes, the two separated and stopped their fight.

"Not bad, Adori, your sword seems to have improved again." Said Liu Guanyi lightly.

"You too, Liu, your punch is heavy and your body is so damn tough." Replied Adori with a huff.
