Real Life isn't Hard

Reality can be considered harsh. With the trials it puts forward, and the terrible inevitabilities that it constantly reminds people, it's no surprise that everyone attempt to run away from it to a certain extent to ease the pressure it places on them. Some find pleasure in simpler escapism such as novels, video games, TV shows, anime, comic books, manga, and even among other people. Some however, take it too far, and end up in another form of reality, one that is not as forgiving. This is where our unlucky protagonist finds himself, lost in a terrible and vast world full of ravaging monsters, backstabbing enemies, and vast kingdoms with years of baggage behind them. The boy must navigate around the treacherous world to find a way back home, all the while trying to keep himself sane. In a world where he is immortal. He may actually have a shot. Unfortunately he finds himself surrounded by unusual set of allies that only make his mind all the more tired when dealing with this new reality. A friendly knight who tends to be a bit slow. A naive boy who tends to get in too much trouble. A girl who constantly challenges him with old feeling he though he crushed. And many more idiots crashing into his life. What's a guy to do?
