Goin all out

Somewhere in a mountain, a group of soldiers was marching through the road. Seem like Imperial soldiers, their armors and weapons were like from China war movies.

In the middle of the group, there was a horse carriage and it looked it belongs to the royal family.

--Inside the carriage--

"Uncle, how long will we return to the city?"

"Little Miss. Please be patient. Our soldiers are doing their best to escort us back. We have to stay far away from the main road because of the dangers"

The one who just asked was a young lady, maybe about 10 years old. She had long black hair and wore Chinese clothes that represented rthe oyal family. She was also beautiful but not sexy, just cute.

There was a middle age man in front of her and he wore military clothes like the soldier outside but he had ca ape. He was the leader or the general of the soldiers outside.

"...Nothing fun happened when we attended the festival. Why did the soldiers have to go with me, it was embarrassing when people just avoided us"

"Miss, you are the youngest princess in the family right now. Do you know how dangerous for you to go out alone? you almost ate a poisoned food at that festival"

[ ATTACKS ]

"That sound? Miss, stay back and don't open the door"

The general stepped out of the carriage to see what was going on.

"What is going on?"

He asked the soldiers beside him while looking at the frontline.

"Sir, we are under attack. Seem like a bandit group. Don't worry sir, we will finish this soon"

"Make sure you kill all of them. I will stay back here"

"Yes sir"

--At the frontline--

More than 60 bandits were blocking the road, they were armed with swords and shields. They were also in a formation.

The soldiers, on the other hand, couldn't believe that the bandits knew how to fight and do a formation this well. They were also taught how to form a formation and used on the battlefields but they never met a bandits group like this.

Both groups slowly received casualties but the bandits had better advantages.

--Bandits side--

"We are going to get rich this time. Look at that carriage, we can sell it to the black market. But if they also have a royal family then we are hitting the jackpot"

The one, who laughed while explaining to everyone around him, was the bandit group leader. The group had more than 80 people and the other 20 were waiting to ambush them with the leader.

"Shit this isn't good, should we call the general?"

"Are you crazy, we are the Imperial soldiers. If we can not handle bandits then we should quit the fcking job years ago"

The soldiers retreated back while holding shields but their action made the bandits more aggressive and eager to attack more.

The leading frontline bandit commanded the bandits who had shields to defense them while the team behind started bringing out their bows and loaded arrows. He stayed behind the frontline with archers.

The leading bandit started smiling because how lucky he was. He was once a scholar and he learned a lot about art of war but he failed his test. Too dejected to stay back, he left the city and went back to his village but on the way back, he was attacked by bandits and he was about to get killed. Luckily, he begged them to join and told them that he was a scholar. He then got a job as the bandit's strategist and thanks to him, the group got more famous through battles against other groups until they were the biggest and most famous bandits in the region.

Now he was leading the bandits to attack the nobles from the city, how delightful...Bla Bla Bla...

"Hello, hey, are you there?"

"Hum what? Do you see that I am busy"

The strategist turned back after someone kept tapping his shoulder while he was dreaming.

The moment he turned back, he saw a boy but he was wearing a mask.

"What the heck..."

Next, he saw the blue sky and felt really weird, like floating in the air plus his face really hurt. Oh right, the boy punched him in the face.

--Frontline--

"Incoming"

A soldier saw something in the sky so he warned others.

The soldiers all looked up but they were confused.

"Is that a person?"

"I never saw this kind of tactic before"

When the person felt down near the soldiers, they all moved back and be more cautious.

The bandits also surprised, thought that it was a new tactic of their strategist but when they looked more carefully, they realized who the person was.

"Is that our strategist?"

"Why..."

Suddenly, another person from bandits side also flew past them so they looked back and saw the masked boy.

"Hello"

Sun Zhen greeted them and started attacking the nearest bandit. It was so sudden that they couldn't react.

One after another, the bandits got taken down by him. Each punch sent them flying back, even if they held shields.

"Attack, we got support"

The soldiers saw the opportunity and help so they charged forward.

The bandits were attacked both sides, the powerful Sun Zhen and the soldiers so they were eradicated very fast.

--Bandit Ambush team--

"Who the hell is that masked boy?"

The leader was yelling while he saw Sun Zhen easily took down their frontline.

"Sir, I think that is Great Wolf Spirit"

The subordinate told the leader.

"We should retreat sir"

One of them spoke up but before he could speak more, his throat was cut by the leader.

He was so angry and felt so humiliated right now. He had been planning this and prepared so many things but now, his plan was ruined and he lost 60 of his subordinates.

"Great Wolf Spirit!!! Fck him, let me show you... Go and release it"

"There're still more"

Sun Zhen right in his kind after he checked the quest, the quest hadn't finished.

The soldiers didn't approach him because they were cautious of possible danger from the masked boy.

"Sir, we got help from a stranger. He wears a mask and has inhuman strength. We don't know if he friendly or not"

One of the soldiers came to the General and reported everything.

"...Let me check. you and others protect the princess"

He then moved to the frontline after seeing the carriage was secure.

When the General saw the masked boy, he was shocked to see something unbelievable. He could see the Qi surrounding the boy. He hadn't seen such a large amount of Qi in a long time and it was coming from the boy.

"Interesting"

He then tried to approach the boy but stopped as soon as he felt the vibration. Something big was coming.

*Sun Zhen POV*

"Wow, the place is shaking. I can even hear the stepping sound"

He looked at the direction where the sound came from, he only saw a shadow but it was over 3 meters tall and judging from the sound, the shadow extremely heavy and big.

A few seconds later, he could see why they called Giant bandits.

The shadow was a gigantic human. He had an abnormal face or you could say he was ugly. Two big arms whichhere over 2m wide and long but he had short legs. Most importantly, there was a strange blue collar around his neck.

Besides the Giant, the bandit leader appeared and he held a blue rock in his hand. Sun Zhen could saw the insanity in that guy's eyes.

"You motherfcker ruined my plan so I going to fck you. Go, Giant, kill him"

The blue stone got brighter and the collar around the Giant's neck started shining with weird symbols.

The Giant roared to the sky and ran at Sun Zhen. He ran like an ape, used both his arms and legs.

"Sir, we have to help him. That Giant is going to kill him"

A soldier asked the General to help the boy

"No need, the boy is capable enough to handle that small threat"

The General only answered without looking away from Sun Zhen

"Small?"

The soldier couldn't believe how the General described the Giants as a small threat.

Sun Zhen didn't move which really confused everyone but the General. A normal human couldn't see the Qi but the General could and he saw Sun Zhen building up his Qi.

After seeing the boy not moving, the Giant swing its arm down at Sun Zhen but he still didn't move. The moment the arm hit him, the ground cracked at his feet and dust blew everywhere around him. The dust blocked everyone views so all of them thought that the boy was finished but after the dust cleared, what they saw next shocked them.

"Is that all you got? And here I thought you can make me more serious"

The arm still on Sun Zhen's shoulder while he looked uninjured.

Sun Zhen then jumped up and punched in the Giant's face. It was a view that came out of a fictional story, a 1m tall boy punched a 3m tall giant and the giant backed 5m away from the punching force.

It was a powerful punch but not enough to knock down the Giant. Instead, he got angrier then ran at Sun Zhen again. This time he punched straight at Sun Zhen.

But before punch even reached Sun Zhen, he disappeared from the Giant's view and appeared on top of the head. He then punched at the head and the Giant crashed down on the hard ground.

Unfortunately, the Giant didn't give up and stood up again. The unfortunate thing was that Sun Zhen kept pounding him with punches, from face to stomach. The pounding session went on for 5 minutes until the Giant stopped moving, still alive but hurt a lot.

"Get up you useless thing. Go and kill that boy"

The leader still remained stupid and angry even after seeing Sun Zhen easily beating the Giant. The blue stone got brighter again but the Giant was screaming because of the pain from the collar.

Sun Zhen already knew that the Giant only a slave to the bandit leader and he controlled him with the stone. He then appeared near the leader, grabbed the leader's head and pulled it down to the ground.

It was an instant knockdown for the leader and the quest interface appeared after he finished the quest.

The Giant stopped screaming and fainted after that.

The whole battle lasted less than 30 minutes and Sun Zhen felt bored, he didn't know till now that he was much stronger than he thought. Hell, he could even handle a 100 man group.

"Why the exclusive quest so easy? The Author should know my strength well. Why did he choose this group"

Sun Zhen was thinking but then he saw a middle-aged man from the soldier side slowly walking to him so he put those things back to his mind.

"No need to say thanks. You are well..."

Before Sun Zhen could speak more, the man suddenly kicked at him. It was so fast that he barely react and he only could use his arms to shield himself.

The kick sent him flying and he crashed into a tree but the force was stronger than he thought and the tree broke down. Not only that, his mask was broke so he removed it.

"Wtf... Shit"

Sun Zhen attacked back after seeing the man appeared in front of him almost instantly but his attacks were blocked.

He kicked but it was blocked again. Punch, blocked. Left and right punches but blocked nonetheless. They exchanged moves from moves which shocked the soldiers, the masked boy could one vs one with the General.

But it wasn't right, it was a one-sided battle. Sun Zhen's attacks were blocked while the man's attacks hit him almost everytime. But Sun Zhen didn't stop attacking, he felt something new inside, something that he hadn't felt in a long time. It was excitement.

Sun Zhen speeded up his attacks and power, the General also noticed that but he only smiled then he grabbed Sun Zhen and threw him away.

After being throw, Sun Zhen stood up and went to battle stance but the General only looked at him then spoke.

"Boy, stop holding back. Show me all you got. It has been a long time since I met an opponent like you"

"What?"

"Oh, you afraid that you hurt me? Boy, look carefully"

Sun Zhen could saw an enormous amount of Qi coming out of the man. He was also like Sun Zhen.

This was the first time he met a cultivator. Sun Zhen couldn't hold back his excitement anymore.

"Then I will also go all out"

Sun Zhen clenched his teeth and started releasing his own Qi. But that would be an insult to the power-up manga and novels franchises. So he screamed at the same time.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhh..."

The Qi was bursting out from him, wind and dust blew around as he was the center. The ground cracked and the soldiers had to back away as the wind blew too strong.

"Great God. He has reached Mid-Human Realm"

The General wasn't affected by the wind and he could see the realm through the Qi.

When Sun Zhen finished powering up, the Qi surrounding him caused bugs and animals to run away. He could now go all out.

He went into his battle stance and the General took down his cape then also went into his battle stance.

The battle is about to begin.
