After viewing his abilities and talents, he noticed the descriptions read a little weirdly. The first time he checked his Restricted Qi talent, it was restricted. Now, it became unhindered, and the other talent Glass Cannon didn't sacrifice anything.

Even his breathing technique changed to a more overbearing skill. It was the same technique he used, to endure the pain that allowed him to reap the rewards that he did.

When concluding the situation of things, he could tell it was the mysterious rock's handiwork. The benefits it gave was incredible. And it only seemed, he just began to scratch the surface of its wonders.

Feeling pleased with the new robust strength flowing through him, Jie Heijun took this moment to calm down. By doing so, he smelled an awful odor in the air, and grime sticking to him, that was the cause of the stench.

Making a quick decision, he chose to clean up first before grabbing something to eat to help finish recovering from his earlier injuries. After all, he couldn't plan a good payback to the Bai Family if he was thinking on an empty stomach.

Jie Heijun could be seen currently on a walk outside to scam his most gullible victim yet, the Bai Family. He had even put the finishing touches, to his plan. Making his way through the small forest trees close to the beach, he searched for the dungeon entrance.

For his next course of action, he needed something strong enough to entice the Bai Family. And this, was where the dungeon came into play. As long as benefits didn't remain hidden inside, and the opening still existed, he was 99% positive they would fall victim to his scheme.

There, after a few hours of looking, he found a small hole in the ground. It was just big enough to fit a single person through at a time. Not wanting it revealed before he could profit off it, Jie Heijun grabbed stones, grass, and dirt, to hide the spot.

Satisfied with his rapid creation of, a solid ground, Jie Heijun turned around before heading to the next place. Just a few feet after exiting the small area, he heard the voices of two people discussing something privately.

"So, did you manage you get the Exp Stones from the Siege Forest? I'm not paying you to make excuses again!" A young man sneered at the old man standing before him. "Young master Bai, this old man needs you to enter the forest with me this time." He responded back calmly.

"Enter the Siege Forest?! Have you gone mad?! Do I need to report your actions to my father once more? Explain to me, why is there a need to enter that death trap, when I'm paying you to do that for me?" The anger was heard clearly in his tone of voice. Was the old man trying to stop him from raising his chances in the upcoming tournament in a weeks time?

The old man sighed at the ignorance in youths nowadays. Did he think making excuses was him being lazy or unwilling? Even if that was true, would he be able to escape the boy's father? Besides, the boy's father wasn't the only known powerhouse in Beach Town. There was still Duan Jiang.

He couldn't afford to offend either of these two. "Listen for a minute Young master Bai, the Exp Stones you want, is difficult to bring into town because of the security check Duan Jiang performs near the town entrance. You already know how paranoid that old fogey can be when it involves him losing money."

Bai Qingyun grimace at the mention of the town owner's name. Not too long ago, he had caused trouble with the man for destroying Jie Heijun's stall. If he were to create another commotion before the tournament was over, his father would not let it slide.

Just having his resources reduced, would be considered a light punishment. He didn't even want to think about a harsher one. "Nevermind all that, you only need me to cultivate while inside the Siege Forest right? Alright, give me a day to get my things and tell father about the update. Remember, don't drag me into the fights! The ferocious beast and field residents inside are too strong for my current abilities." Bai Qingyun caved in.

The old man was likely asking this because it'll be a problem if Duan Jiang caught wind of the smuggled in Exp Stones.

"Rest assure Young master Bai, this old man will not put you in harm's way." Hearing the old man's words, Bai Qingyun snorted before making his way out of the small forest. The old man also followed soon after.

Meanwhile, Jie Heijun had a weird expression on his face. Why did he keep running into strange occurrences lately? He guessed, the two, didn't want others to know they were working together, so they made their discussion inside the forest.

As for the old man, he was probably an outside business partner in secret. Regardless, the tournament being moved up to just a week's time was a predicament for him. It would be hard to improve in time to get the chance to enter the city.

With the chance of entering Enclose River City, it would open more opportunities to increase his strength than Beach Town provided. Sadly, life was never that easy when the matter of success was apart of the proportion.

The reason people didn't just go directly to the city and the town owner could monopolize the incoming merchants, was all because of the Siege Forest stationed in between the town and city.

With the town being surrounded by seas, on three sides, the fourth side was a forest region. A vast forest with many dangers and a place cutting off the rest of the land on the other side. Just the thought of the area left travelers and people in town not daring to cross through without true strength.

In fact, besides the merchants that came in to make trades, only three people in Beach Town could travel through the Siege Forest.

Duan Jiang and the Bai Family head Bai Longtian were just two of the three people. The last was the Ling Family head, Ling Yan. Her strength, only falling short to Bai Longtian, while tieing with Duan Jiang.

Despite this, the Ling Family happened to be the third most substantial influence in Beach Town. It was also the other family that didn't dare be too bold when the Jie Clan was in power.

Jie Heijun realized Bai Qingyun wanted to rapidly increase his strength by using the Siege Forest since there were no dungeons known to be inside Beach Town. Which meant, he needed to speed up his plans.

After all, how could he make Bai Qingyun work so hard by acquiring dangerous Exp Stones in the Siege Forest when Bai Qingyun could effortlessly, have the Sound Bat Exp Stones, handed to him instead.

Although the time frame was too short to stop Bai Qingyun from going to the Siege Forest, he could at least prepare a present for him upon his return. Nobody would turn down Exp Stones in a place like Beach Town.

As for the unique Sound Bat that appeared during his time in the Dungeon Zone, those type of individual residents was usually found guarding treasure.

Taking long strides, Jie Heijun walked to the next area he needed to be. Passing by trees, the impoverished area in town, and the marketplace, Jie Heijun arrived at an estate with remarkable conditioning.

Typically, if he saw this place, he would have a frown and maybe some anger as well. But right now, there was a small smile on his face that he couldn't seem to remove.

He knew, before he could get a serious audience, they would give him a hard time. Despite that, he was still in a good mood. "I wonder how long it will take for somebody to notice I'm here." He pondered quietly.

Not too soon after this murmur, a family guard with a short spear in hand came marching over. "You!" He shouted, exactly having noticed who Jie Heijun was. "What are you doing there, and why are you on the property of the Bai Family beggar brat?!"

Not being perturbed by the full rage in his voice, Jie Heijun remained utterly composed. "I want you to tell your Family Head Bai Longtian; I have an offer he wouldn't want to refuse."
