33 Chapter 33

[Author Note: Finally have some free time! I'll avoid making any promises of mass releases for now until I can actually stock up on chapters. Please enjoy!]

I need 1,105 more achievement points to reach the Achievement Egg goal of 3,000 achievement points.

I wonder what that 2nd point of luck will be like. Seeing as how overpowered just 1 point of luck was, I am excited to see what that 2nd point will do. It's not as if each stat point added is weakened too, they all give something extremely beneficial.

Just the 1st point of luck that I had literally almost made me seem like the main character, ignoring the fact that I have an Achievement System and was transmigrated from a different world.

I had a grand piano popping out of nowhere, I was literally taking spots out of streamers and was lucky enough to catch the eye of a huge agency's scout.

Would this 2nd point give another chance for a lucky encounter, or would it instead just strengthen the single chance I have that is recharged every 2 hours?

Well, these questions will answer themselves later I guess.

Also, apart from that what does the Achievement Egg give? Would it give me more achievement points? Give me an object? A system upgrade, maybe?

Maybe a pet? Please don't give me a talking chicken that will suddenly make everything annoying. It's already a little disrupting having a voice inside my mind.

Don't mean to trash-talk the system though. I hope the system doesn't feel bad about that.

Would it be able to do something to me if it's ever angry at me? Can it be angry at me? I mean, it does seem to have some degree of sentience.

Could it just take my perks, my intelligence, charm, and my soul out of here?

It's able to give it to me and literally adjust my body. I wouldn't be surprised if it can take those things as well.

[Host needs not to worry. The Achievement System is always supporting you!]

Great.

The slight pressure and discomfort I felt at those thoughts vanishes.

Feeling a little excitement at the thought of the many things I can buy with the achievement points replace the discomfort, I open up the system shop.

First of all, I should buy the ones I was interested in the other day.

[Composing: 60 pts]

I click the purchase button.

Instantly, I feel a little knowledge trickling into my head. Some thoughts are reinforced and some experience being molded within my brain, all of this forming a better musician's skill. Now I truly recognize the component parts of a song and how to make one.

It's not as if I didn't know how to do it before, but now I have the experience of a composer and experience is the deciding factor in anything.

That's actually really cheap for the price of 60 pts.

What's the deciding factor for shop items? My talent? Randomness?

Maybe I might have to pray to RNGesus to give me lower prices?

I pray to the supreme god to no avail and stop my foolish actions after a few seconds of actively embarrassing my dignity.

Ah, well maybe I can pray later?

I open the shop tab back up.

[Better language proficiency: 20 pts] Seeing as how composing at just 60 pts gave me a decent boost, I want to think this will be broken as well.

I tap the purchase button and feel a foreign energy switching up the wirings within my brain once again.

Walking to my bed, I lay on it and close my eyes in comfort.

I feel little adjustments in the way I communicate and even feel improvements in the fluency of my languages.

My Chinese grammar and tones connect a little easier and the Spanish I learned before, became a little more fluent.

Hmm, for 20 points this was absolutely worth it. It's honestly not game-breaking, but it kind of does save me a little more time when learning languages and actually being able to speak them.

Since I've also already learned Spanish, I can learn Portuguese, French, and Italian because they're romantic languages which are similar in their structure.

In fact, I already did learn a little Portuguese. The words are very similar to Spanish and the grammar is already there in my brain.

I learned a few words which can be very useful later on as well, such as:

Filho da Puta!

Caralho!

Eu fodo sua mae!

Apologies if anyone is offended.

I don't think I'll ever have to use these specific sets of very eloquent words though.

They're very strong words.

I haven't really cursed in a long while. I used to cuss like a sailor on every sentence whenever I was with myself or with friends.

Never with females though, I was taught to never curse or say anything dirty to females, which is something I pride myself in. Can't be a degenerate now, can we?

I think I haven't cursed at all because of the charm point? Silver Tongue passive I just got recently and I stopped cursing way before that. I did feel like I started talking a little differently when I got the charm point.

I guess that's an improvement? I was never really too fond of my very frequent use of swears.

Moving on though, I'll buy the other things I had noted down that interested me.

[Organized Thoughts: 15 pts]

I bought it and once again felt a small energy travel through my brain.

This time the effect wasn't too big. I didn't really notice anything too much apart from just thinking a little more orderly.

It felt a little cleaner per se, though my brain already felt clean before from my brain re-learning everything and the 14 points of intelligence.

My eyes move back to the system shop and I buy the Expression Manipulation that I was pretty interested in.

[Expression Manipulation: 70 pts]

A similar energy to the time I got my charm point riles up my facial muscles. They shake a little bit and one even spazzes once or twice.

I close my eyelids and feel comfort at the facial massage. This feels so good, maybe I should just keep selling and buying again. Can you sell things, system?

[No.]

Ah, a flat rejection. No matter.

My muscles relax once again and I try different sets of weird faces in the mirror. Eh, it's basically what I was already able to do. I did struggle sometimes in facial expressions due to the lack of use of them by Pangaea Charlie, so I guess this is a good buy?

I wiggle my eyebrows and try winking with my eyes.

Woo! I can finally wink now without looking awkward.

I kept opening and closing my eyes at the mirror and winking at myself like an absolute moron.

My face contorts into the different expressions I had been struggling with a few days ago and I rejoice at the success.

Do you know how frustrating it is to not be able to do something you so easily did before? It's like destroying pros in ranked and suddenly in casual, you're being absolutely demolished by noobs who can't even control the ball. Like what the heck Rocket League?

My system tab opens up again in front of my face as I call it and I scroll down again in the shop.

I look at the shop and below Expression Manipulation opens up a few other tabs below it.

I click them and see:

[Good Expression Manipulation: 400 pts]

[Perfect Expression Manipulation: 2,000 pts]

Oh.

So does everything also have tiers to it?

I head to composing and the same tiers 'Good' and 'Perfect' show up.

I go to organized thoughts but there isn't anything after it.

I scroll back up to the top and check in Language proficiency and once again see 'Good' and 'Perfect' under it.

Okay, so this is pretty broken. I thought I had a limit on how much I could gain from the system but this is something else. 'Good' sounds tiers way above than just the normal skill which would probably make me a genius in the things I buy. If I bought Good Composing I'd be an excellent composer just seeing how normal Composing just gave me such a boost.

Language Proficiency was also pretty decent at just the normal level and with those tiers, I'd probably become a language maniac that learns a language every month or something.

Goodness, gracious.

Hold on. Does that mean there's also something for the Great Body Passive? Oh my god.

I search for Great Body and to my disbelief I see only one tab opening under it.

[Perfect Body]

...Isn't this… kind of broken?

I mean Great Body was just excellent and literally was the reason why I could go to the gym like a maniac, fearing no injuries, even though I was a scrawny kid.

Now, what will Perfect Body do?!

Ah, I must earn Achievement Points quickly to see.

My heart beats uncontrollably with excitement and I grin imagining the things I could do with the system's shop.

I'm totally smiling like an insane mental health patient right now.

Well, I'm done purchasing things for now. I'll save up the rest for the stat point for when I open the Achievement Egg and can put it on luck.

[Host's Total Achievement Points are now: 1680]

The stat point will cost 1,500 so I think I'm pretty safe right now. I'll save them just in case something happens and I need to purchase something really quick but still have points for the stat point.

Getting the luck point as fast as I can would grant more benefits.

It's weird what this thing can do in just 2 hours.

Let's pray this 2nd point of luck is absolutely broken.

Getting out of my thoughts, I head over to the bathroom and do my natural procedures.

I brush my teeth while humming lullabies and wow, my voice sounds decent now. It's only sounding decent when I sing at a low volume, though. I'll probably have voice cracks when I try to sing at a higher and more powerful volume.

I'll practice raising the power of my voice later, though. I don't want to strain my vocal cords.

I finish by washing my clean and smooth face and head to bed after applying some weird facial routine for good skin.

I get out of my bathroom, get on my bed, and turn off the lights, which are right next to my bed.

Good night everybody.
