Eliza, The Human Rogue.

The air is dry and hot, a bright light blinds her and she can feel her lungs burning with every breath. She feels nauseous, there must be something in the air, but who knows what it is. A seemingly pristine landscape awaits her and a sense of excitement takes hold of her. This world is smooth sailing all across, but only time will tell how true this is.

Eliza is a female human rogue in the world of The Roaring. She lives on the beautiful island of Allaire and she has made it her home.

She lived on the island for many years and knows it well. One day she meets a man with an unusual name, Ligru.

He swears he can get her to the imperial capital of Manakoor. "But the journey will be a difficult one," he says. She will have to go across the entire island, to a place called the Dead Reaches.

The Dead Reaches is a region known for its harsh terrain and its many dangers.

She tells Ligru that she will accompany him on his journey across the island. Ligru is happy to see that she is interested in making the journey. He tells her that he is not going to be very helpful on the way, for not only is he an arrogant fool, but he's also rather drunk. The man tells her that every time he gets drunk, he has these moments where he forgets about his problems.

Eliza says "I don't care."

Ligru gives her a shortsword and some provisions for their journey. She is told that if she runs into difficulties along the way, she can always kill some locals to get provisions.

Eliza says "Thank you."

Ligru leaves the tavern, leaving her with the innkeeper. He tells her that this is a dangerous place and that she should be careful, although he says she is probably safe enough with this sword of his.

Eliza talks to the innkeeper.

She has a few questions for the innkeeper.

What keeps the inn safe? Have you ever seen a dragon in the area? Will I find safe roads on my way? Do you know how to tell a hawk from a handmaid?

The innkeeper answered her question about how to tell a hawk from a handmaid, but he doesn't really know anything about road safety.

Do you know how many bandits roam the area?

The innkeeper says that he can't really answer these questions.

"Nevermind, I'm fine."

This man is useless for information, so she decides to leave.

She spends the rest of the day in the streets of Allaire.

Eliza regroups with Ligru at the tavern.

While she and Ligru regroup at the tavern, she hears a commotion go through the crowd. Many people seem to fear for their lives and rush away from the scene.

The crowd of Allaireians appears to be moving away from the scene of the commotion towards the center of the city. She gets up and follows them towards the center of the city.

Eliza grabs a girl from the crowd.

She pushes herself through the crowd and grabs a girl that looks much younger than her. She seems to be a little shaken, but she calms down quickly and asks her who she is.

Eliza says "No time for questioning who I am. What's going on?"

The girl tells her that a man was assassinated by a group of bandits that walked through the crowd.

She says that the city is filled with fear and that riots are going on in the streets.

Eliza says "Really? Awesome! I'm so happy for you!"

The girl says that she shouldn't talk like that. She asks her where she is from, and Eliza tells her that she's from the rogue nation of The Roaring. The girl seems impressed but then asks her if she's afraid of going back alone. Will Eliza help her go back safely?

Eliza has no time for this girl's drama, but she decides to go with her anyway. She walks with the girl to the center of the city, where the riots are the worst.

Eliza touches the girl's butt.

The girl gets mad at her. She slaps her hand away and says that she didn't invite her to mess with her.

Eliza says "It's okay. I love you."

The girl continues to look angry at her. She tells her that she doesn't like guys and that she's never been attracted to Eliza.

Eliza says "I'm a girl, you know?"

The girl asks her to stop touching her butt.

She tells her to stop saying funny things.

She tells her that she wants to go home.

Eliza doesn't want to take her home.

She gets up and walks away from the girl and the rioting crowd. She walks in the streets of Allaire until she reaches the end of the city. There is a small forest just outside of the city, and she decides to take a break.

She lay a mattress on the ground, and she decide to rest a little.

She closes her eyes to take a little power nap.

Suddenly she awakens with a start.

There is a pair of bright red eyes staring right at her. She looks around for the source of the eyes. There is a large creature, like a bear, standing above her.

She punches the big creature in the nose, and she hears a loud crunching noise.

The creature is knocked unconscious on the ground.

She rolls the creature over and checks his pulse.

His pulse is strong so she ties him up and continues walking. Once she reaches the edge of the forest she realizes she made a terrible mistake.

There is a large group of people waiting for her on the other side of the forest. If she goes through, she will be captured, but if she doesn't go through, she will probably be killed.

Eliza goes back to what she thought was the entrance to the city and she finds that it's still locked.

There is a note hanging on the door that reads "To continue your quest, find the key and go through the door." The door is a red door, but the rest of the city is all blue doors.

Eliza searched for the key.

She finds that the city consists of many, many floors. The city seems like it's made of glass and she can see the rooftops of buildings in the faraway distance. There are no humans in sight, but she could see them if she looked closely enough. She goes up to the door on the fifth floor and presses the button that is supposed to open it, but nothing happens.

Eliza tries to smash the door open.

The door is pretty sturdy, there is no way to break it down.

She look around the room and find a table, on which she could climb to reach the button. She climbs on and presses it, but the button doesn't budge. It appears that She has been locked inside the room. She tries the bathroom, but it's locked as well.

Eliza tries to lockpick the door.

She tries to pick the lock on the door. After about a minute of trying, the lock on the bathroom door pops open. The door to the bathroom is now open. She sees a mirror in front of her.

In front of her is a portal.

Eliza enters the portal.

She steps into the portal and travels to the other side.

She arrive on the other side a few seconds later.

She finds herself in a different part of a forest in a different time period.

A lot of the plants are the same, but some are different, and some are just gone.

She doesn't see any people.

She hears noises coming from the other side of the forest.

She follows the sound of noise until she finds a camp. There are about ten people there. They look like they are bandits or something similar.

They are all skinny and dressed in rags.

They all have a scowl on their faces.

They each have a bow and a quiver of arrows.

They have small fires going.

Eliza extinguishes the small fires.

The bandits quickly rush towards her. She raises her hands and makes an 'H' with them to ask the bandits if they want to fight, or if they just want to talk.

The leader of the group approaches her. His name is Farhan Brownhand, it seems.

Eliza says "Hello traveler, I come here from a long-forgotten time to land you a quest of my own."

The man says "I've been waiting for someone like you to show up for a long time, now. My name is Farhan Brownhand."

Eliza asks Farhan if he's from the future. He says: "No, I come from a different time. A time when the humans were still humans and the dragons were still dragons."

Eliza says "Are the humans not humans anymore?"

The man frowns and says "I will explain as we walk. Right now, there are things you must do." He looks at the sky and sees that it's nighttime.

She and he walk to a nearby tree and hide behind it.

She doesn't see any dragons, but she does see a lot of rats.

The bandits are preparing their camp for the night, they are setting up tents and building fires. They will be ready for her in the morning.

Farhan sighs and says "You are welcome, traveler Eliza. You may call me Eliz'Ae, by the way." He says.

"You will need to do two quests for me, Eliz'Ae. These quests, in fact, are two quests that I can complete. You will have to complete them in whatever sequence I deem fit.

The first quest, a small one, can be completed at any time. There are not many things that can get me in trouble, but if you can find one, I'll need you to do it.

The second quest, on the other hand, can only be done at a certain point in time."

Eliza says "I will not disappoint you, traveler. Where do I start my first quest?"

Farhan says "It's nighttime now, but I will need you to find something for me in the morning."

He says "You will need to find a book on the island of Allaire. You can do this because I will give you enough money to do so."

"What book is it?"

"The book is called 'Dragons, Dragons Everywhere!' Or, 'How to Understand Dragons in an Age of Ignorance.' "

She nod.

"Good. You can start your first quest now, Eliz'Ae." Farhan hands her the bag with the money in it.

She goes back to the camp.

Back at the camp, she finds a few prostitutes and she has some fun. She goes to sleep. The next morning, she woke up. She is on a path once more.

The path, like so many others, leads to a different part of the island.

She sees a small pond ahead of her. The island is mostly made up of water, and the path seems to wind through a series of waterways.

Eliza gets a strange sense of deja vu. This place feels like home. She comes to the pond and she sees that the water is clear and as warm as ever.

She walks to the pond and she jumps into the water.

The water, like all the other water she comes across in The Roaring, seems to be a different color than the air around it.

The water does not look like what she saw before. It is a dark green color, darker than the sea. And it is not just the color of the water. The pond looks dark. No sun can penetrate the water at all.

The pond looks like a large pool of quicksilver, only darker. The pond is completely black and it's warm, as warm as the air is hot.

It's not that she is sweating. Her body doesn't even feel hot. But the pond is so warm. It's almost too warm. Like a fire.

The heat of the sun cannot touch her in the water. The heat does not penetrate. The heat disappears. She wishes she could stay here forever. But then she starts to think about her family. About how she needs to finish her quest and get back home. She starts to open her eyes. The water around her is black and red. The blood is warm.

Eliza look around.

She opens her eyes and she sees red. This pond, this water, this place is not her home. Her home is where the sun doesn't shine. And there is no sun here.

And there will never be sun here. She is home. She doesn't belong here.

Eliza search for the book in the water.

She dives into the water, swimming through the blood-red water. She comes across a wall, made of bricks. On the wall are written strange markings. They have no meaning. However, the writing is in a language she understands. It is Elvish.

She swims closer to the wall and she finds yet another wall, made of wood. Written on this wall is the name 'Lodestar'.

She swims closer to the wall and she finds a third wall. This wall is made of metal. And on the metal wall is written the name 'Orm' and the word 'master'.

She swims back to the surface of the water and she pulls out the bag.

The bag contains the book. The book, 'dragons, dragons everywhere!'

She is Eliza, the female human rogue from The Roaring. She lives on the beautiful island of Allaire.

She lives a life filled with adventure, dragons, sex, and orgies.

Her path is illuminated by the light of the moon. She is ready. She is prepared.

She is ready to embark on her journey.

The journey to the end of the world. To the legendary dragon city called Zalan. To the heart of the dragon. To the one who calls himself 'Orm' the mighty dragon.

To get the book that grants you this journey. The book that will illuminate your path. The book is the key to getting the treasure she seeks. And what does she seek? Treasure.

Eliza starts walking toward the legendary city called Zalan.

She walks from the pond back to the mainland.

The sun in the sky does not even seem to move. She does not know what to expect. The world is not as she knows it. The air is still. It does not move. The air does not even seem to contain oxygen. It does not smell of the sea, the land, or the jungle. It smells of dust. She is now walking. The land is a desert.

She comes upon a camp built for travelers. There is only one person here. He is sitting on a rug by the fire. He seems to be fast asleep. He is a rather fat man. Eliza's mouth is watering at the sight of all the food. However, she notices something strange. He has only one hand.

His left hand is missing, replaced by a metal one. She tries to wake him up, but he does not respond. He is fast asleep. Perhaps he has no need for a left hand.

She wakes up the man and she takes his left hand.

She tries to run away with the food, but the guards soon appear. They are not happy with her.
