Chapter 50 - Dungeon Diving

"Hey, Ais~" The younger of Hiryute approaches the Sword Princess and jumps on her back. "Who are you talking with? Could it be a secret rendezvous?" The Amazoness teased.

"No. I met an Adventurer just now from our expedition group. He was returning from doing his… business." Ais said with a brief pause.

"Huh? I was heading here and I saw no one though." Tiona tilted her head and looked back at the stair leading to floor 39.

"But I just saw him a minute ago…" Ais also confused.

Tiona frowned because Ais never cracked a joke or told a lie. Which means she definitely saw someone pass by but how come she didn't see anyone when she walked up the stairs?

"Uhm. Let's return and inform Riveria about this. Also, Finn is summoning all the executives."

"Okay." Ais nods and follows Tiona back to the camp.

Another hour later, Leo arrived at floor 47. Finally found an intact Monster Rex. Though, what he was looking for isn't the Monster Rex but the Adamantite ore around this floor.

The moment he entered the floor, the Monster Rex already noticed him. It's a humanoid one eyed monster with a very muscular body covered in bone spikes around its limbs, head and neck.

"What Level is this Monster?"

[It's Balor and it's Level 7.]

"Level 7 huh… Well, a fight is unavoidable at this point." Leo mutters as he sees the Monster Rex awaken and roar at Leo.

The Greatsword materialized in his hand with a single thought.

'*Yawn* Is it time to fight, Leo?' The sleepy voice drifted into Leo's mind.

"Oh, did I interrupt your rest?"

'Not really… I am rather hungry anyway. That Beast would be a fine meal for me.'

"Okay…" Leo didn't know what she meant by a meal. But he assumes she can eat the soul or something. What do living weapons eat anyway?

Leo charged ahead with one hand, extended out and summoned two snake phantoms as big as Balor and locked it in place as they tried to devour the Monster Rex. He injects Mana into the sword which quickly transforms into a giant green blade as Leo flickered and appeared in front of the monster, plunging the sword into its chest. Then Leo uses Electrokinesis to instantly supercharge the sword and discharge it as an explosion of lightning bolts wrecking the Monster Rex body.

'Ahh~ Not so rough, Leo.' Her moan slightly distracted Leo, giving the Monster Rex an opportunity to slap Leo away.

Leo survived it with only a slight battered state and a trickle of blood flowing out his mouth from a few internal organ ruptures. But there is nothing worth mentioning with his regeneration. He returned to his feet in seconds.

"Can you not…"

'I can't help it. The sword is literally my body, you know.' She argued.

Leo put the matter aside for now and looked at the Monster Rex with a gaping hole on its chest. He saw a deep purple crystal dangling on the position where the heart should be.

All monsters have a common weakness which is the crystal. Once it breaks, the monster will definitely die. However most adventurers will not aim for it immediately because they require a feat to gain Falna. An easy kill means lower falna. But Leo has no need for Falna.

A Light Spear appeared in his hand and threw with all his power which created a sonic boom and shattered the crystal on impact, causing the monster to release an unwilling roar as it fell and dispersed into mana particles.

"Let's mine the ore and leave." Leo mutters and gets to work.

It's a pity he can't find Oricalchum. Maybe it's a special drop unlike Adamantite. He will need to do a little digging for that later.

After mining his ore, Leo bags Balor's crystal and leaves before the expedition group arrives.

6 hours later.

"Alright, everyone can rest here for now. The executives follow me, we will kill Balor." The blond pallum said.

The executives of Loki Familia went into floor 49 after getting a quick repair and maintenance on their gear. But they didn't see the Monster Rex. What they see instead is the result of a battle and the dungeon is still regenerating it slowly.

"Someone killed Balor? But that's impossible. We literally saw no one." The blond pallum said in disbelief then turned to Ais.

The other executives also have the same thoughts but even the King, Ottar can't fight the Level 7 Monster Rex that easily, how could someone do it unless they are stronger.

"What should we do next, Captain?" The dwarf in heavy armor asked.

"Ais and Bete please scout the lower floor. The rest let's return to the camp." The blond pallum ordered with a serious tone.

"Alright." Everyone agrees.

Another 3 hours elapsed when Leo returned to the surface and it's almost morning. He wants to buy some breakfast for the girls because the hotel didn't serve food until like seven in the morning and they will be entering the dungeon at 6.

"Thankfully I have food in my inventory." Leo checked his inventory while walking down the empty street.

Well, not really empty because there are few people already waking up in the morning preparing for the day. But still quite empty compared to the afternoon where the street close to Babel is usually crowded.

Entering the hotel, the receptionist gave him an odd look. But Leo ignored that and quickly went to the girls room.

*Knock* *Knock*

Grayfia opened the door a moment later and looked inside. Only Tanya has woken up.

"Want some breakfast?" Leo offered the convenience store food he stocked in his inventory.

"Hmn… Thanks." Tanya accepts them and Leo puts the portion for Mittelt and Ravel on a nearby desk.

"Well, get them up and prepare for the dungeon. You all will depart in another hour." Leo told Tanya before he left for his room.

In a hurried pace, Leo returns to his room and places down a barrier before a bolt of lightning jumps out of him and turns into a girl in Miko outfit. She sat on the edge of the bed with her arm crossed and stared at Leo.

'Thank goodness Murakumo is a guy…' Leo sighed.

"I'm waiting for my explanation, Master." The impatient girl tapped her finger on her arm.

"Alright, alright." Leo takes a seat looking tired. "I have no idea alright. It just sort of happened. Not like I can predict the sword would turn into a girl…"

Leo peeks at Mitama and she is still tapping her finger.

"Also… I would want to wield you. But the dungeon didn't allow me to. You know how it would react right? I still can't expose you to this world yet."

Leo peeks again and she stops tapping her finger.

"So, darling can't use me because of the gods right?" Mitama addresses Leo with more affection which means she isn't angry anymore.

"Well… yeah." Leo nods.

"Then let's kill them all as usual. Problem solved. How dare they stand in our way. Hmph."

"No no no. You can't do that." Leo panicked a little and asked help from Murakumo but that traitor said, 'Ever heard about hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, Master. I would rather not court death. But worry not, I will pray for your success, Master.'

"Then, throw away that sword. Darling needs only me." She gave her an ultimatum which left him even more helpless.

"Hoh, and who are you to decide that, Little girl?"

"Li-Little girl!" Mitama sized up her adversary that made herself appear to defend her position.

With a look, the two definitely belong to the 'Loli' category. However Mitama looks more like a 5-6 years old while the sword that yet to be named is more to 10-12 years old that experienced puberty with 'assets' greater than the former.

The living sword in her human form moves closer to Leo and sits on his lap while leaning on his broad chest, inhaling his aroma that evokes the illusion of a tranquil night under the moon. Like a playful kitten, she traces her finger over his body, taunting Mitama.

"D-Darling! Why are you enjoying it!" Mitama sees Leo's expression and angrily jumps down the bed before she charges over to Leo.

"Of course he would. Unlike you, Leo likes obedient girls more. Am I right, L-e-o~?" She purred on his lap as she locked her arms over his neck and marked his scent all over her body.

Mitama fell to the ground in defeat. His face is twisted with disbelief as if the world around her crumbled into dust.

'Of course' She thought. 'How could I not realize this?' Realization struck her like lightning. She proclaimed herself as his bride yet that hussy knows him more than I do.

Meanwhile Leo looks with concern at Mitama who changes expression at least four times from disbelief to shock to realization and finally anger as she grinds her teeth.

"Y-Y-You win this time, harlot! But it won't be long before I steal my Darling back. I will make you realize I am a better wife for him!" Mitama declared before fleeing.

"I already have a feeling this will be a pain in the future…" Leo sighed before he looked at the girl on his lap. "That's enough acting, she left already."

The girl lifted her head confused while looking at Leo. "Acting? I am hurt, Leo. I am quite serious with my declaration or perhaps it's not obvious enough?" She wondered with a serious expression as she mumbles something about being dense before she changes her position and straddles on his hip. "Hmn. Perhaps it's indeed not obvious enough."

"Well, open your ears and listen carefully, Leo." She smirks and smiles playfully as she moves her mouth closer to his ear. "A sword is an extension of its wielder. Not just a mere blade but also their partner for life. A partner that will accompany them to the end of their journey." She said a giggle as her hand slowly moved down from his chest to his trouser. "There's no need to hesitate, Leo. After all, every fiber of my being belongs to you, my M-A-S-T-E-R~" She ends with a gentle blow of air to his ear.

*Bam*

Leo immediately pushed her to the floor with his eyes covered by his hair as he was breathing heavily. She just keeps smiling despite having both her arms pinned down.

"Could it be you are quite pent up?" She mutters as she looks at the tent on the crotch area twitching and threatening to burst out. "It's fine, Leo. I shall accept all your desires. It's my duty after all." Her tone remains seductive as she opens her arm wide as if welcoming him.

"Damn you…" Leo's voice sounds husky as he is about to sink his claw on his first woman.

*Bam*

The door slammed open and the three girls came into his room. The girl on the floor vanished. While Leo immediately sobered up and his agitated blood calmed down.

[Damn bro, you just got cockblocked.]

Leo quickly stood up and acted as if he accidentally tripped as he invited the girls in and handed over their weapons.

Tanya however, isn't convinced. She was the one opening the door and in a brief frame of a second, she saw Leo was pinning a girl on the floor about to unless his lust before the girl looked disappointed and vanished. But she didn't call him out because everyone deserves their privacy. Although, she does feel somewhat bitter. The corruption of Elenium Type-97 hadn't clouded her rationality but it does have some degree of effect like making her embrace her current gender.

She is currently at the age of 26 despite her physical appearance that is closer to 13-14 years old due to her growth stunt stemming from her living condition in the orphanage.

The bitterness comes from the fact she would soon pass her prime and yet she is without a partner. Unlike Mittelt or Ravel, she is just a human. Her lifespan is short and soon she will grow old. Being around Leo and her previous life's influence as a corporate worker, she seeks a partner that can provide the best and she cannot see any other man more worthy than him because he has the strength, wealth and influence.

By the time she snapped out of her contemplation. Everyone received a weapon from Leo which appeared out of thin air onto his hand. She gets a dagger close in appearance to a tactical machete mixed with kukri. It's a little bit shorter compared to normal but it fits her size. Ravel got a round shield and a short sword after Leo persuaded her that her higher regeneration fit more as a frontliner role. Lastly, Mittelt received a spear because she is used to wielding her magic spear as actually spear during her training.

"Let's start your dungeon diving." Leo announced after handing out weapons to everyone.
