The offensive against Konoha was going great than what was on the plan. On our side, casualties were in an all-time low as the Jonins began to coordinate fast-attacks against the enemy shinobis. Chunins supported by using collaboration jutsus such as Wind and Fire techniques. The Fan Corps were exceptional with their collaborated Wind jutsus.
The Genins were assigned to retrieve the wounded and bring them to the medics. Some were on the supply chain and logistics, bringing new weapons from the village factories around the Land of Wind. I am with the Chunins because they deemed my abilities as an essential factor in immobilizing and large-scale bombardment.
"Magnet Style: Sand Hail!"
"Magnet Style: Weaponry Kunai Barrage!"

'If I keep this up, my merits will soar high, and I could ask for a leave. I already have enough fame as I got the nickname of Iron Sand Demon. Smirk.'
'I need to get permission for leave, and I would start journeying to Uzushio.'

Iwagakure, the hidden village of the Land of Earth, has declared war on Suna. The declaration caused the Council to order for shinobis to respond to Iwa's aggression.
What spark the war was because of Iwa rock-headed shinobis who tried crossing the northern borders of the Land of Wind to react quickly to the advancing Konoha shinobis into the Land of Rain. But this maneuver backfired as they accidentally fired on Suna shinobis causing several casualties.
The Kazekage was very mad and marched into the new frontline with Iwa and wreaked havoc. The Tsuchikage, Onoki, responded by sending many Jonin troops to block the advancing Suna headed by the enraged Kazekage. This move of the Kazekage left the current frontline with Konoha to loosen up as he brought numerous troops with him.
As he left, a rising star Jonin assumed command, and it is non-other than Pakura of the Scorch Release.
She was a great leader and a highly skilled Jonin, but she isn't similar to the Kazekage in abilities. Lord Ebizo, one of the Honored Siblings, younger brother of Lady Chiyo, came and supported the Northern Front. Here, in the Southern Front, Lady Chiyo is heading the offensive. Tsunade has appeared numerous times, but she can only retreat.
Our side has morals soaring high and a lower casualty rate. This is because Konoha is facing numerous fronts, Iwa, Kiri, Suna, and Ame's intervention.
My teammates, Yuuma and Souta are making names for themselves, too, especially Yuuma. He has been using the battlefield as a whetstone to sharpen his kenjutsu skills.
He recently mastered the Vacuum Sword, coating his sword with wind chakra, enhancing his sword strikes into a whole new level. His movement has already become very swift that Chunins would find it difficult to face his sword.
Souta, not very much, but he is still up there. His primary abilities are his puppet techniques and his sharp mind. That enabled him to be a squad sub-leader of a squad from the puppet corps.
As for Chiharu-sensei, she is somewhere with the Jonins, probably busy with the offensive.
The war with Konoha is slowly turning into our favor. The non-stop blitz campaign headed by Lady Chiyo managed to breakthrough Konoha's defenses. We also have started building more strongholds in Rain Country and some in River Country.
'Why not tap the flowing rivers of River Country while we still have the control of some parts of it? Redirect some of those rivers into Wind Country.'
'Oh well, not my problem for now. I need to get that leave, fast, and go to Uzushio. Now for the last stunning jutsu to get those merits.'
'Let's aim for a big battlefield! Smirk.'

The Jonins called the attention of all Suna Shinobis in the entire southern frontline for a big assault against a Konohan camp. According to the intelligence gathered from the scouts, they sighted Tsunade within the opposite camp.
'This is my chance!'
The entire southern frontline forces all rushed up to destroy the enemy camp. I am within the middle of the ranks sprinting with the whole army. As the Jonins began weavings signs and the others engaging the enemies patroling around the camp, I also began weaving mine.
"Magnet Style: Exploding Iron Hail!"
'Great!'
After the assault began, a loud explosion was heard within the camp. It was Tsunade; she was engaging Lady Chiyo and the other Suna shinobis.
When the Konoha shits saw Tsunade fighting Lady Chiyo, they attempted to assist her.
'They think they can get to her? Then think again!'
"Magnet Style: Iron Sand Drizzle!"
'Muahahaha! You all got shitty luck! Taste despair!'

The attack led to Tsunade retreating; she possibly went to Konoha's main camp in Rain Country, where the White Fang is. Lady Chiyo understood this and tried to capture her, but Konoha shinobis continued blocking her.
'Oh well. It is her lucky day today that she got to escape. The next time? Let's see.'
'By that time, I have already finished my research on the Uzu style fuinjutsu, improve the Kyo Style, and complete the Absorption and Storage seals.'
The Jonins rebuilt the damaged camp Konoha left behind. The higher-ups want to use this camp to better respond to Konoha. I also helped rebuilding the walls using my sand.
"Akio-kun, come here!" shouted Chiahru-sensei.
"Lady Chiyo wants to talk to you. You may get a promotion Akio-kun. I'm proud of you!" she said happily, leading me inside the rebuilt camp.
As I enter the camp, I saw many Jonins within the meeting room. Chiharu-sensei led me there and saw Lady Chiyo in front of a big map.
"Ah, there you are. Come closer Akio-kun," Lady Chiyo said, smiling.
'Here it comes, my promotion! And my long-awaited leave!'
"Akio-kun, your performance during this entire offensive was critical and a key component in instilling fear in Konoha of the power of Suna. With the approval of the entire Jonin regiment of the southern frontline, we award you the rank of Chunin." she then gave me a Chunin vest and a scroll.
"This scroll is your certificate of promotion and entitles you to claim the bounty of enemy shinobis you have killed. And within is the clauses of the merits you have gathered."
"Ummm, Lady Chiyo, may I take a short leave? Like a month or so."
"Hmmm, very well, your help during this time was immense, so with the power vested in me, I grant you leave valid for a month and a half."
"Thank you, Lady Chiyo."
Chiharu-sensei led me out of the camp and praised me for my achievements. After the drama, I left the camp and passed through the southern part of River Country. My destination, Wave Country, as it is the closest country to Whirlpool Country.
