45 Chapter 45 : Returning home

After Amon finished everything , he made sure to warn the deputy and the others and ordered them to conceal the changes in their branch and hide it well without attracting anyone's attention or arousing their curiosity

Then he told them that he would return tomorrow and that they should prepare to go to the meeting normally and that he would come with them

The deputy and the others who heard his words trembled as they imagined what would happen to the gang of Black Rats tomorrow after this monster entered the meeting place . " Guess who is back "

Maya was surprised to feel something covering her eyes before she recognized the warm and comforting feel of Amon's hands and heard his voice in her ears . She was happy and turned to him and asked him anxiously

" Brother , where have you been ? "

" We read your messages telling us that you have work and you will be late , so we decided to wait for you , but you were very late and took more time then what we think you would took "

" Sorry , honey , I had a lot of work to do and I couldn't come back before I finished it "

She blushed red after she heard him call her honey

She did not continue her questions and smiled at him lovingly

" Okay , it's okay , the important thing is that you're fine "

Amon removed his hands from her eyes slowly and patted her head gently for a while

Then Maya turned to him and asked him

" Did you eat dinner ? "

" No , I didn't eat anything , I'm so hungry "

She smiled at him and got up

" Don't worry , we left you your share "

" I'll go heat it up and bring it back to you "

Amon smiled at her , approached her , embraced her gently , and kissed her on the forehead

" Thank you Maya , I'm really glad you want to take care of me "

" I'll wait for you to finish , just tell me if you need any help "

" Don't worry brother , I will finish soon "

After she left , Amon sat on the sofa and lay down to relax a little
