"Unfortunately she is right that would be impossible and unwise I believe, but there is one option left..." Shawn began, "And as for the Master bolt, It isn't exactly a relic as much as a weapon, and symbol of power, to bring it to the underworld would be extremely dangerous and may even start a war so that should be the last resort... But our other option may be even harder to get than the master bolt..."

"Are you... But nobody even knows where it is!" Annabeth gasped as she figured it out,

"I'm lost..." Will said

"... He is talking about finding The Eternal Flame! The one that can burn brighter than the sun and burn anything it touches to ash in an instant! Shawn that was lost for a reason! where would we even start!?" Annabeth said frantically

"Indeed I am... However, the Flame isn't lost, and I suspect I know where it is..."

"Talk Water boy!" Annabeth commanded

"Alright relax," Shawn said reaching for a book to the left,

"This was here in my bed last night, Along with this necklace, I don't know who put it there but it states that the last place it was seen was in the depths of the Alrucia Ocean," Shawn said Holding out the leather-bound book and a silver necklace with a crystal on it,

"But... That ocean was dried up and became a dessert more than a thousand years ago!"

Will said

"Indeed," Shawn nodded

"The flame is why it dried up..." Annabeth said realization sinking in,

"I suspect so, and I believe I know where the search begins..." Shawn said

"Avalon, The traveling city..." Annabeth said more to herself than anyone else

"Indeed, I suspect that the City of Avalon Is buried within the dessert after it attempted to travel the ocean... when it sunk, With it the power and core of the city, The Eternal Flame" Shawn explained

"But how do we find it?" Will asked

"I think... We won't..." Annabeth said, "Let me see the necklace!"

Shawn already knew what she was getting at but handed her the necklace,

"I need a flame!" Annabeth exclaimed and Shawn went to his dresser and brought a lighter, "Here will this do?"

"Yeah, it's fine!" Annabeth snatched the lighter and flicked the flame to life, Bringing the crystal pendant, As soon as the Crystal touched the flame it started floating and then turned as if pointing,

"I was right!"

"What were you right about?" Will asked

"You see when the city was made, Due to it constantly moving they made a way for their travelers to find there way home they called it the Crystal guide, but due to this being able to track it they rarely gave it to people instead only those whom they trusted! With this, we can find Avalon!" Annabeth was breathing hard from excitement,

"So we are about to find a lost city and find a way to it and bring back The Eternal Flame, But how do we bring the flame with us if we can't touch it?" Will asked

You could see the wheels in Annabeth's head begin to turn and then Shawn spoke up,

"The flame was more than an energy source or a destructive flame, It was known to heal those around it and purify their bodies, but to do anything other then destruction it needed to be bound to a master who had a strong enough will to keep its destructiveness in check, It would enter the body and challenge the mind... It was done in groups If the group failed... Well, don't think about that... but if even one member of the group was selected then no harm would befall them." Shawn explained

"It would burn your body inside out along with your soul leaving nothing left..." Annabeth said unable to keep the information to herself,

"Fun more danger, But which of us will be trying to contract it?" Will asked a little freaked out

"That would be me, as the son of Poseidon I am its polar opposite and therefore can control it, I believe I can do it... I thought it may be you, but I believe it to be unlikely, there must be balance and your father is also light, heat, and healing, etc. so it wouldn't be countered." Shawn explained,

"Agreed, Although I don't like the idea of anything happening to you... I mean either of you!" Annabeth said, realizing what she said she blushed and stood up preparing to leave, "We Leave tomorrow afternoon we should get some sleep..." She said before she ran off,

"Seems she has a rather large crush on you there Shawn..." Will noted

"Ha, maybe... but she is right I think that is enough planning for one-night don't you?" Shawn said with a chuckle

"Yes, See you at breakfast!" Will laughed good-naturedly
