2 Bridging the Connection

a few weeks had passed and Percy and Shawn spent a lot of time together, Percy was a grade behind and so Shawn often helped him with his studies. Shawn had finally gotten a look at himself he was young looking but he was a beautiful child with Brown hair and Golden eyes apparently due to the mutation from birth and it only made him more beautiful his hair wasn't long but it wasn't short, His body was lean and muscular for a 10 year old.

"Hey, Percy lets go for a swim," Shawn stopped by Percy's room to get him to join him in the pool, his mother knew that two kids of a water god would love a pool sho she had made sure to buy a house with one,

Percy was already wearing his swimwear and was apparently going to get him a second after he was, So both already set went to the pool and met at the bottom.

Shawn felt a Connection with the water deciding to try and bridging the connection he felt around and the Connection expanded a new world opened, He felt that the water was at his command just one thought and it would do it, Shawn began to breathe and wasn't surprised he was able to.

Percy was beside him at the bottom just floating with his eye's closed not a care in the world, Percy didn't know he could breathe but he could hold his breath for around ten minutes with ease.

Shawn felt a presence at the top and kicked up to the surface although not far his mother had gone the extra mile to make it a 25ftx45ft pool with a deeper section reaching depths of 20ft,

"Hey, Shawn is Percy down there too," his mother asked,

"mm, What's up?" Shawn asked

"I'm heading out to meet with a friend, I won't be gone long but until I'm back your in charge okay?" She added

"Yeah, we'll be fine, have fun! be careful!" Shawn added

"I'll try, you two be good" she smiled

"Okay," Percy who had come to the surface said

after Sally left Shawn had the water spray Percy

"Ah!" Percy cried out as he was hit by the stream

"hahaha" Shawn laughed at the almost nine year old spit out the water and he tried to do the same to Shawn

Shawn had started teaching Percy how to control the water he wasn't as good as Shawn but he was pretty good

The small stream Percy made had missed Shawn who redirected the water to go back and hit Percy,

"Your gonna have to try harder than that!" Shawn laughed as he floated Percy in a large bubble of water which Percy just sat still in and glared at Shawn before he released it and Percy fell, Then Shawn stood up on the water and watched Percy float back up defeated,

"Remember to make a connection with the water and it will be instinctual after that! stop trying to tell it what to do! it just takes more energy and is much weaker." Shawn said

"I'm trying to but it's not opening up, I can feel the Connection but it's not working!" Percy complained

Relinquishing his connection over the water he tried to see if it was interfering, "Alright now try?" Shawn said,

"Don't look for the connection, let it make it, all you have to do is open yourself up to it alright?" He said watching Percy's determined face

after watching the boy wall down and relax he could almost see the connection being formed after he had made the connection he shot up and had the water push him around for a bit before coming back down and sitting on the water, "I did it!" He yelled

"Yeah, you did congratulations!" Shawn said before Reaffirming his connection to the water,

"hehe, Good job Percy!" Shawn smiled,

For the next few days, Percy was all smiles, he couldn't wait to do more but he was proud of his current achievement, Shawn said there was still a lot for the two of them to learn and he wanted to learn it all with his big brother!!!
