Chapter 21: Understanding

After our first time together a flood gate of passion opened causing us to stay there for two days. Actually we even included the servant girls that brought us food. To honest while I loved this slutty side of hers I still could not help feel a little guilty. I had even expected her father to get pissed at me for turning his daughter in to a nympho. Instead though he congratulated me. When I asked why he said that her mother was rare elf variant called a wood nymph. Nymph are know for either always being a women or their powerful sex drives. Apparently elf father would have to rely on multiple medicines to barely satisfy her. So he kinda of respected I could do it all natural. He then told me that he had called Rou over to take part in a festival and said he wants me to join too. I of course agreed since Shera is my woman and she was.also cooking for the festival. I waited outside the village until I saw Rou walking up with Redhead and female knight. They were riding what I assumed to be the hindbear and black wolf he caught a long time. Apparently while I was gone they have both ranked up and became an Orthrus as well as a demon bear. I was happy to see that their fear of me has lessened a great deal. Guiding them in to the elf village I noticed the elves were looking a the girls and judging them. Once we were inside my father-in-law's house we sat down at Shera served us some snacks. We even had some drinks making it a fun time. Soon however the talks turned from the drinks to talk about the war efforts. If things went as they were then both sides run a risk of being invaded by a third party.

We talked about finding a way to speed up the end of this war but nothing came to mind no matter how long we talked. Eventually it was time for us to go home but this time we brought Shera with us. She was riding the Orthrus Kurosaburou along with female who had a strained smile. One look was all it took to see that her guilt toward the war made their interactions strange.

Female knight: Excuse me but I was hoping you would give the elf secret medicine to the humans so this war can end.

As she spoke I could tell that female knight did not look at Shera. Shera on the other hand was enjoying talking with me as we were walking. Rou thought for a bit before telling her that he consider it.

Shera: Big brother I think you should do it. The only reason we didn't is because it is forbidden for us to do so.

Ever since I completely made her my own Shera has taken to referring to Rou as big brother. When she first did it I asked her why and she said it is ,because he just seems like an older brother. Back to our current conversation I can see the female knight's face become a mix of surprise and shame. If I had to guess it must be because she figured out the true reason for the war. From what I know she is the daughter of a noble family ,so when she heard that the elves refused to save their country's prince. Let's just say she was less then a little unhappy. Her belief was that everyone was like her but now she realized this war was hardly about the princess. Instead it was about getting some elf slaves for the nobles to play with. The rest of the trip home was pretty quite until I spoke up.

OgaHou: What others fight for should not influence your beliefs but rather you should fight harder so that your cause stands louder.

My words did the trick because when I finished talking her expression looked lighter. Finally we were home so I went to visit my women who pounced on me immediately. After satisfying everyone I was sitting cross legged looking over the object in my hand. In my hand was a small deep green knife that is perfect size to engrave inscription. From it I can an overwhelming amount of vitality. This was the reward I received for completing my mission from before. It is apparently called life guardian as for what it does I am not entirely sure. The only thing thing it's description said was to hold it to my forehead so I was a little suspicious. Still like the saying goes fortune only favors the brave. I took the green knife and pressed it against my forehead. When I did a warm comfortable feeling rushed all over my body. I enjoyed this feel until a sharp pain as if I was being stabbed came from my forehead. It took everything I had to not scream out in pain. Luckily the pain only lasted for a short while before it faded.

Once the pain was gone I noticed something strange that was hard to describe with words. I could feel that my spiritual power had increased to point of far surpassing my soul power. Not only that but in the mild of my forehead there was the presence of a vertical slit. The most interesting part was I see with my eyes closed and while not using my martial soul. The rest of my night was spent was discovering and getting used my new third eye. Finally it was time for use to mount another attack ,but this time it is against a unit that has one of the brave heros. Our assault started with Rou freeing a slave beast that went on a rampage. Originally we were going to wait for a majority of their force to be wiped out before making our next move. Luck was not on our side because we were quickly discovered. With no other choice we entered in to the frey with Rou summoning some skeletons. Normally with the sun rising in a few minutes this would be foolish ,but he found a way around that by using his blood clones. I on the other hand was using my claws covered in lightning to tear people apart. My ferocity scared everyone around me causing them to stay clear of me. Since they refused to get any closer I took my time to survey the battlefield. Everything thing was going smoothly but the fight that caught my attention was Rou fight the insect hero. Things were just getting good I sensed something traveling underground.
