10 Day 46 - 50

- Day 46

The morning was spent gaining Sei, Fu, Emery and Sigul's measurements. Sei was Quick about the whole thing so that she could return to teaching the other mages, Fu would only let me if I joined her in bed, Emery was a little embarrassed but when I told her it would be used to make something for her she complied and Sigul, although stunned by the fact that I asked her, replied almost immediately with her exact measurements.

I then spent the rest of the morning working with Rou on the gifts and he was pleasantly surprised when I showed him my {Multicoloured Silk} skill which made our lives much easier.

Once we had finished, we went about one by one handing the gifts to the girls. Dresses, of course. Emery's dress was intricate and pretty but easy to move in while Fu's was the complete opposite being simple but elegant. Sei's still resembled a mages outfit because I figured she was a mage first and foremost. So far so good. The next person to receive a dress was Sigul who was absolutely flabbergasted by the gift. She tried to say something about not taking off her armour but I ordered her that, if she liked the dress, to wear it, and so she did. Finally, I gave what would look like a dolls dress to Returner who thanked me with a big smile on her face.

At the end of the day, I created some blood clones with {Self-replication} and turned them into small insects with {Metamorphosis} placing them around the forest in various locations.

- Day 47

My little insect spies picked up some on the movements of a familiar Elven face and his entourage. When I explained this to Rou via {Ally Communication} He said he had a feeling something like this might happen today but to just go about my day as normal for now. I told him I had an idea for when they arrive and Rou decided to trust me.

I used {Synthesis} with {Evil Eyes} + {Intimidating Howl} + {Scaled Horses Neigh} + {Goliaths Pressure} + {Daunting Presence} and made a terrifying skill called {Reapers Spiritual Pressure}. This should be enough to stop them from coming back. Or kill them. Either way works for me.

I ended up biding the rest of my time by watching Sigul train Red head. Dou came in at one point and when I asked him about his current level, he smiled and kept walking. I guess that means he's close. When Rou alerted everyone to the incoming invaders, he ordered everyone other than Gobue's group to hide while they continue mining like nothing's wrong.

The elves entered the caves with malice pouring out from them. This quickly turned to fear when I used {Reapers Spiritual Pressure} on them all, causing them to drop to the ground under the weight of the sheer pressure I was thrusting upon them. A few of the ranged fighters in the back fainted while others soiled themselves, fell to their knees or cried out in agony as the pressure continued to assault them. When I finally stopped, they were tied up and Rou stepped out in front of them and asked them if they had forgotten what he had told them last time.

Their once pompous leader began shouting about how Rou had humiliated him and dishonoured the elves, deserving no less than a thousand deaths. The others however, are saying that they tried to stop him but he refused to listen. Poor elves. Foolish is the leader who refuses to listen to his subordinates. Not only did he force them to attack, he did so without any sort of morale raising activity, without first studying his opponent. In the end, he's just another loud mouthed idiot born too important for his abysmal IQ level.

Rou then struck a deal with the other elves that they would all compete in one on one fights with his subordinates and if they won, they would be allowed to live. If they lost however, they would be immediately disposed of. When the first elven Male was released, he began shouting obscenities at Rou and charged toward him. Little did he realise that I had hidden myself in plain sight a few steps in front of Rou by using {Presence Erasure}. I clenched my fist and, using an attack I haven't had the chance to use yet, {Shattering Strike}, I completely obliterated his head with a single punch. After eating the soul and gaining the {Elf Language} skill which was immediately synthesised into {Universal Translation}, I turned to look at the cowering elves.

[Kei] "Don't worry, we won't be competing so you've got a chance."

The elves then watched as Rou devoured the remains of the recently deceased elf and made up their minds that they would get out of here. When I returned to Sigul she asked me if what we were doing was considered justice. I replied by saying that they attacked and the fact that they are even being given a chance at all to survive is merciful. She went quiet for a moment before agreeing with my statement.

As time went on, it was easy to see that a lot of the female elves were being given preferential treatment, although a few males did survive. Rou offered me the dead elves souls and I gladly accepted, gaining {Spirit User} {Archery Proficiency} {Tracking} and {Hiding}. I synthesised {Tracking} with {Total Area Perception} and {Hiding} with {Presence Erasure}.

By the end of the day, it was decided that no one would touch any of the elves until Rou's aphrodisiac had broken through their wills and they began to ask for it. As for the elf leader, Rou and I shared a rather bland meal that earned us both {Selling Price: 30% Increase} and {Buying Price: 30% Reduction}

- Day 48

I spent some time with Dou today as he continued to train and hunt and by the time we finished, he had a big grin on his face which I wouldn't expect to see from someone with so much pride.

- Day 49

Today's the day. Yep. Two Hobgoblins have ranked up. Kichi ranked up to an Ogre Variant with copper skin and chiseled muscles while Dou ranked up to something called a Half Gale-Lord. Apparently he's also a Variant, although his skin colour is the normal light cream colour and his eyes are red, small horns protrude from his head, he has what are known as {Ogre Orbs}, small green orbs, on the backs of both of his hands that allow him to summon his new Katana that appears to have a very strong Wind aspect to it while both of them can also help him access his newfound control over the wind.

According to Dou, he received the {Blessing of the Demigod of Swords} and {Blessing of the God of Gales}. The last thing worth mentioning is the green tattoo on the centre of his chest that gives me a feeling of familiarity.

One thing that occurred almost instantaneously is that Dou and Kichi decided to have a sparring match. It was quite an impressive display of power from both of them. Their elements pretty much cancelled each other out so it just came down to a match between a bruiser and a dancing blade. Even without his blade, using just his hands, Dou was able to cut through Kichi's durable skin and muscle while nimbly avoiding Kichi's attacks. The result was an upset with Dou finally toppling the giant, red skinned Ogre, Kichi.

I spent some time making some new clothes for Dou afterwards. A green and white Kimono I've enchanted with {Durability}, {Auto-Repair} and {Reinforcement}. He also received a few bits and pieces from Velvets tomb from Rou. He thanked both of us and after Rou had left, he turned to me once more and bowed, saying that his sword would always be mine to wield. I appreciated the gesture so I asked if there was anything else he wanted. When he told me that all he required was to continue working with me, it almost brought a tear to my eye. To think, this once ball of pride is now showing me so much respect.

I don't plan on taking it easy on him because of it though. When all's said and done, with all of my abilities, he's still far weaker than me. I decided to keep him on his toes with a quick sparring match.

- Day 50

I received another surprise from one of my Allies today. It started when I woke up and realised that Fu wasn't in bed with me. The second strange occurrence was that her gloves were discarded carefully on the ground nearby. When I Analysed them, it seems that the insides have been corroded by something.

When I asked around the settlement as to the whereabouts of the strange girl, no one seemed to have an answer. Taking note of this, I used {Total Area Perception} with the target being the person that wore the corroded gloves. I followed the tracks to an area nearby where trees had been decayed and rocks had been melted. That's when I found her.

Wearing a simple yet elegant black dress, with pale, lifeless skin and long black hair is Fu. Seeing the destruction she's been causing, I'm guessing that she doesn't yet have control of her new skills. She probably woke up and freaked out thinking she was going to melt me or one of the other girls.

I used {Presence Erasure} to sneak up to her before placing my hands on her shoulders. She was startled and quickly tried to pull away until she saw that it was me. Then she started trying harder. I let go of her shoulders and as she attempted to run, I grabbed her hand. She freaked out for a second before realising that nothing was happening. I told her about my {Corrosion Resistance} skill and she started doing something I don't believe I had ever seen her do before. She cried. There's something to say here about me causing women to cry but that can be left for another time. I noticed that on her legs were a pair of black tattoos intertwining with smaller yellow tattoos.

I kept her in my embrace for as long as she needed until she calmed down. Once she did, her usual look began to resurface and we ended up spending most of the day together in the forest.
