DAY 1-5

In a vast wasteland littered with bodies of the dead, there stood a man in the jaws of a gigantic wolf. The man stepped one foot on the wolf's lower jaw and grabbed it's upper jaw preventing it from swallowing him.

"Your death has finally arrived, fenrir!" The man stated as the gigantic wolf named fenrir roared in fury.

"With your death, I'll finally avenge my father!!!" The man named vidar then proceeded to tear the jaws of the gigantic wolf, the wolf of apocalypse, fenrir, using his bare hands. Finally, with one final scream, the death of the slayer of the allfather, odin, has arrived.

Vidar then looked at the dead body of fenrir and took it, using a special leather bag. After taking it, he left the wasteland and went away either to grieve his father and brother's death's or to go back to his garden.

Back to fenrir, the wolf was now dead. Well, duh of course he's dead, is what you would have probably said and you are very right, good job. Though, its thanks to this death that the wolf thats been chained for almost all of its life has been freed.

• DAY 1

"G-graawr? Graahraaagh?!(I-I'm alive? Why can't I speak?!)" I tried to speak a few more times but gibberish was the only thing that went out of my mouth, though you could also call it a normal wolf growling.

I also noticed that though I'm is able to feel my limbs, I'm not able to utilise them. I also looked at it and saw that they were minuscule compared to its previous or original size, and thats when I finally knew what happened.

"Grawrawr! Grrrraaaagh grrraaah!!( I get it now! I've been reincarnated!!)" 'Is reincarnation even possible for gods, If so, is odin also reincarnated here? If thats the case then this might be troublesome.' I thought of some things for a while before I heard a voice, stirring me up from my thoughts.

"Oh, is this little pup finally awake? Now look at that night coloured fur, you'll definitely make a great kobold." A canine headed man said as I looked and observed him.

'kobold? Is that what my race is called?' I wondered as the canine headed man continued. "

I wonder what I should call you? Hmmm, how about fenrir? Thats good." The man named me exactly the same name as my the one I had in my previous life.

"Gwaaahh" I then felt a strong sense of drowsiness hit me as I yawned before slowly closed my eyes.

"Must be this new body, it still needs to rest a… lot." That was the last thing I though as I drifted in dream land

• DAY 2

I'm just a baby, so nothing really much too see. I guess they do feed me breast milk, though I don't know why but there seems to be a schedule on who would feed us, they kept changing who I was breast feeding. Its quite annoying since each milk from different kobolds have different taste.

• DAY 3

I could finally talk a bit and not just talk gibberish, though I did keep it a secret and only talked quietly and when there aren't any others in the area. Though I still cant use my limbs at all, all I could do is try to speak and look around the room, this is boring!!

*DAY 4

Unlike yesterday, I could now move my arms and wail them around and speak more fluently than that of yesterday so its an improvement I guess. I also noticed that its not just me thats born here, other kobold babies were also with me forming a line.

"So I'm not the only one, must be after mating season." I though as I closed my eyes and slept.

*DAY 5

I woke up feeling the drowsiness fade away like a fog as I slowly lifted my body and sat up in the dried leaves. Wait?! I can already move my body?! This isn't supposed to happen even if it's my old body, is there something wrong with this world or is it my race?!

I slowly got up and looked around him to see if there are others and saw that they were still asleep. I then tried to talk silently to see whether I could already mutter words or not.

Fenrir: Can I speak? Interesting, I'm already able to speak just five days after I was born.

Fenrir's thoughts: hmm, this might have been caused by my rapid growth ability. The catch is that that ability is what I had in my previous life, did it pass over this new body? If so, does all of the abilities I had in my previous life pass over too? It seems I have to try and find something or someone to be the test subject to see if it did.

I then walked towards the only exit inside this cave. As I exited the place I was previously in, I saw a group of canine headed humans, or what they call themselves, kobold talking before looking at me. I then saw the kobold that named me, he also looked at me as he widened his eyes in surprise.

"Huh, you're already able to move?! Its only been about five days since you were born!"The one that named me commented.

"Oh, in five day's? Now thats rare." "You must be joking, it's rare for a five day old kobold to move or even grow like that." The other kobolds near the kobold that named me then chattered in some surprise as to how I was able to grow rapidly.

'So it isn't normal, as expected of me hahahaha!!' I haughtily laughed as I saw an old kobold walk towards me.

"Calm down, I was also naming some of the kobolds that day and I have seen that seishi have indeed named this little one here." I could see that the crowd has calmed down as the old looking kobold that looked like a wolf that had thick eyebrow's that covered its eyes and long hairy ears while also wearing tribal clothing walked towards me before he asked.

"So, are you able to talk, little one?" The old kobold asks as I nodded.

"A talking 5 day old?!" "now thats unheard of!" is that even possible?!" The other kobolds chattered again only for the old man to stop them before turning towards me.

"So, do you know how are you able to talk and move already, little one?" The crowd looked at me awaiting for my answers as I lied to them with a straight face.

"No" I said as the old kobold sighed. "So you also do not know, well, I guess thats normal. Then do you know or remember your name?"

"No, what about you? What's your name, old man?" I asked as the old man smiled.

"My name? My name is nencho. And your name is fenrir, remember that name okay, little one." I nodded at him as the one who named me came over. He also looked like a wolf like the elder except his fur's colour is mixed with both dark grey and white. He wore a foreign armour, I have yet to see an armour of that kind before.

"Hello kid, my name's seishi. I'm the one who named you. Awesome name right?" The one named seishi then patted me on the head as I looked at him and asked.

"Hmm, so are you my parent?" I asked as the one named seishi widened his eyes in surprise.

"Oooh, already knowing about what parents are, you're quite smart but no I'm not. Well, we actually don't know who the parents of all of us here. Just know that we are a pack, all of us is family. But if you're weak then we will devour you, thats just how it works here." I nodded at his words as I understood what he said. It might be cruel but the weak always falls prey to the strong, such is the fate of the weak.

"I understand so uncle seishi, can I leave and start my hunt?" I asked with a blank face as the old man interrupted our talk.

"Hurhurhur you should get dressed and know the things you need to know about this forest first, little one. You might accidentally get killed if you encounter a strong foe." I nodded as the old man then asked me to wait as he took some clothes and gave them to me. He then told me the different beast and edible things in this forest, he also thought me different skills and something that I was not familiar of, the rank up system.

"You see, one gets stronger if they kill something, they gain something called experience. Once a certain amount of experience is acquired, one will level up. A level up is an upgrade to ones body and skills, they become stronger, and faster. Once one reach the hundredth level, they go through a process called rank-up."

"They rank-up to a higher species of their race, making them significantly stronger. One is able to rank-up depending on what you did, for example, if you kept using a blade then there's a high chance that you would become a kobold thats specialised in swords much like a kobold samurai like seishi here. and if one is extremely lucky and is blessed by a certain or multiple gods, they can become whats called a variant."

"Variants are blessed with a divine protection of gods or/and demi-gods which, depending on the divine being that gave the blessing, is capable of giving the Monsters special skills or improved defense against a certain element."

"The divine protection actually appears as an ability and manifests in the being physically as a change in appearance. There are also rarer rank-ups than that of a variant, its called rare species. Though I only know little about this as I have never seen one before."

'I'm surprised, to think evolution comes this easily in this world. Even the gods of my old world don't evolve this fast, interesting.' I though as I then questioned the old man again.

"So can I go and hunt now, old man?" The old man contemplated for awhile before finally answering.

"Hmm, quite impatient now, are we. Well, I think there's no more things to teach you so you can go now, little one. Seishi, guide this little one the way out." I nodded as I followed uncle seishi towards the exit.

"Be careful out there, fenrir. Some humans might have wondered around the area, avoid them if you ever saw them." I nodded as I walked away from the cave. I then ventured the forest searching for test subject before shortly finding my prey.

A rabbit, is this the horned rabbit that that old man was telling me? Hmm, you'll make for a good test subject." I walked closer to the rabbit as it noticed me and pointed its horn towards me. I then noticed what seems to be a red thread appeared connecting its end's from the rabbits horns to my chest. The rabbit then backed off a little before proceeding to jump at my direction, probably trying to impale me with its horns.

'Is this the skill that old man told me? Isn't this skill supposed to be learned when I get older or more experience?' Though I was thinking, I was still able to catch the rabbits horns and put some force in my hands, breaking it.

'Hmm, [predict] was it? What a useful ability, and it seems that I still have my increased strength, reaction speed, and senses, good.' I then looked at the wailing rabbit as it kept rolling around the ground in pain as I tilted my head.

'Does having its horns destroyed pain it, is it the same as having cavities in your teeth? Hmm whatever, though I could still use this rabbit for food or bait. Wait, if I eat it, should I eat it raw or cooked?' I contemplated on whether to eat the rabbit raw or cooked as I stepped on it's head, killing it instantly.

"Cooked it is, I should probably start with a fire if I want it cooked. Is my magical abilities still present though?" I then lifted my index fingers as a kindle of flame lit up on it.

"Nice, this should make things easier for me. Though I shouldn't eat this rabbit yet, it could still make as a great bait for others to take." I then proceeded to look around for more prey while carrying the dead rabbit with my left arm. As I was searching, a single snake seemed to have smelled the dead rabbit and came over to check.

'Those black coloration, a night viper. Another good test subject, I'll eat it to see if I still have the immunity I had in my past life.' I then proceeded to approach the viper as it hissed at me.

"Let's test this out." I said as I pointed my hand at the viper before lightning conjured at my hands before it shot at the viper, electrifying it to death.

"Nice, my magical abilities is still high. Now, I heard that its head's poisonous to eat, so how about we try that." I then sliced the viper's head before burning it slightly to cook it. I smelled that the head was already cooked so I stopped the burning and then took a bite at it, starting from its front side.

'Pretty good stuff, kinda itchy and irritating to the mouth but still good, must be the poison. I wonder if the body's also this delicious.' I looked at the headless body of the viper as a drool dropped off my mouth.

'Must endure, I can't let my hunger get the best of me. I still have to use it as a bait, wait no! I actually don't need to, I just have to leave the rabbit and eat the viper then it still could work, yeah lets do that.'

I then proceeded to cook the viper's body before I ate it as I left the rabbit to be the bait for more testing subjects or food. I then moved further away from the cave we were living in as I met many more beast's until I moved back to the cave carrying the beast's I defeated.

"Oh you're back, fenrir! So how was the hunt, it seems very successful judging from the beast's you're carrying." Seishi, who saw me coming back commented."

"Yeah, you could just give all of this to the others since I can't eat it all." I commented back as seishi thanked me.

"Oh really?! Well, I thank you on behalf of all of us, fenrir." I nodded as I handed the dead carcasses of the beast I killed to uncle seishi and moved back to where I used to have slept.

"You don't have to come back to were you slept before, little one. You need to sleep on a new bed, I'll guide you to it." I nodded as I followed the old man to my new sleeping ground's. We talked a few times while we walked though its usually him that talks and I just nod and answer.

After a few seconds of walking, we arrived at another room that seemed to be full of kobolds, this must be their sleeping place.

'Looks disgusting and it has no bed and just haystacks, I should probably just sleep in a tree.' And that I did, I asked the old man if I could just sleep in a tree. At first, he strongly disagreed in fear of any creature's attacking me while asleep but with perseverance and annoyance, I was able to convince him.
