Day 48-50

Day 48- the noise of the hallway outside my room awoke me this morning. I prefer waking up naturally undisturbed by anything like in my last life no matter what I did at 7am sunlight would always leak into my room and hit my eyelids forcing me awake. So after that I redesigned my blinds in my room but then light would slip in from the hallway through the door.

It was an endless battle to always sleep in pitch darkness, I thought sleeping underground would solve this but having enhanced senses means I can hear assholes thundering around. I was about to get up until I felt a heavier weight on my arm than usual so I turned towards my left arm. What I spotted made me jump away on instinct forcibly waking the girls.

"What's the big idea Jin?!?!" Rin screamed at me before she stopped and noticed that her voice was a little different. "Ararara~ did someone nibble on you Jin~ don't worry I'll kiss it better" chimmed Chi. Sei and sato seemed to realise why I jumped away and sui just rubbed her eyes cleaning the crust out of her eyes.

Sei sighed and said "Chi, Rin you evolved again. Your new appearances made Jin jump away because he didn't recognise you." It was then too went wide eyed before they began inspecting themselves. "What are your species?" I asked.

"Half sergeant lord" Rin said happily as she'd achieved third evolution signifying a mature person among monsters. "Ogre~" Chi said in her usual seductive tone. She began flashing her new enlarged assets at me that became cow sized as compared to before.

Rin has light green hair tucked into a beret, she's wearing a green military uniform and I see a riding crop on her pillow. Chi however looks completely different to a hobgoblin. Her skin revert to a goblin green but she bulked up to be as tall as I am, she has two bulging green horns atop her head sprouting from between her white mane of hair. Her sleeping wear was torn to shreds by the expansion of her body and her chest seems to be the why. Sei seems to be glaring at her chest in jealously while sato is laughing.

Sui just giggled and left to grab clothes for her from hobue who would have some tucked away in prep for her evolution. I checked the girls and did indeed find tattoos, Rin is on the back of her neck trailing down while Chi had gets on her left arm though it was more stripes and scratches than a tattoo it still gave her a wild feeling. Her appearance contrasts her personality that is only wild when she's fighting or procreating.

I heard a rumbling rushing towards my room, Rou stormed in "is it true more evolved!" He asked with a grin plastered on his face. Evolution deeply intrigues him, he's probably happy to have other sparring partners besides me who he can only beat with his skills.

"Kyah~!" Chi screamed as she decked Rou sending him flying into a wall. He did just storm into our room while she's naked. "My body is for Jin only Rou kun". Rou just pulled himself out of the wall and bowed begging for forgiveness. The aura Chi was leaking may have freaked him out. Feminine demon aura, hobumi leaks here frequently so he's learned to just beg for forgiveness when in the wrong.

I noticed down the hallway Kichi was shocked at seeing Rou being knocked away. He gripped his axe angrily and left the cave with Hobue passing him looking worried. After passing some work clothes for miners she left to join him.

My day was spent sparring with chi and Rin, Rin did improve but it was mostly due to evolution and not a special trait so we decided to let her train the goblins today. That was a show~ when she yelled at them they moved more efficiently and when she instructed them they learned faster. Rou was happy that he has a way to increase training speed though it only works for military tactics as she couldn't train them in mana skills. I theorise when can only teach what she knows, she also said she could see plans in her head when they were sparring which old Ji confirmed to be the {strategy skill or strategic mindset trait}.

I gained them that night when I "ate" her and pushed her new body to its limits. The three who are still goblins and the two new elf girls were both happy and jealous. Happy that my stamina was being drained so I was less restless but jealous that they weren't receiving. The elves are masochists to their core apperantly, Rin seemed to flourish in torture as well. Rou had her attempt info gathering from the other elves the next day which actually worked as she learned the location of their village and the political structure.

She's not powerful but she's useful, I'm excited to see what a full sergeant lord can do. Now then onto Chi, her combat powers soared through the roof and she gained poison mana and acid mana as she was able to spit them at me. She was able to enshroud her warhammer in them which dissolved a tree she struck quickly enough. She was the most happy that she gets the longest at night, this is good as at will encourage the others to try harder to evolve. I can already see sato training longer in her swordsmanship and sei doing harder mana exercises.

Day 49- the cave tumbled again but this time it was from laughter. Kichi has finally evolved into an ogre so we went to congratulate him. Watching him smile awkwardly as Chi patted him on the shoulder and said "welcome to the club" was hilarious. Kichi seemed to become an ogre variant which means a different color in skin and unique element.

I and Rou experienced this as hobgoblins so we walked Kichi through it. He has flame attributes and can belch flames. Thanks to the mana stones he was able to pick up enchanting and shrouding his weapon in that element of mana. He's three times the size of hobumi so Rou and the humans worked over time to get him clothes and armour that fit.

The first thing he did was challenge me and Rou so I let Rou have first crack at him. Kichi has two blessings which are a fire and war blessing which means his fire and battle prowess have been elevated even further. Their fight went on for about 30 minutes and ended in Rou's victory as he was faster and had more martial prowess thanks to training with me. Kichi regained his silly grin and snacked on some hind bear.

After that it was my turn, the result was the same as Rou. Kichi couldn't hurt me with his flames because of my temperature resistance and flame mana coating. His strength was also useless against me who could match and redirect it so I had him on his back rather quickly. I did notice that he can learn as he fights so after I began teaching him grappling to give him an edge on Rou.

The rest of the day was spent getting the armour and weapons for the two new ogres and inspecting the elves. Now that old Ji is stronger he can barely contain himself from going after the elves but he somehow has been training on the side. Yamato looking old coot has been trading swordsmanship at night according to Sato whose seen him training with his cane. It's got a hidden blade in there now after the blacksmith modified it.

Day 50- this was a quiet day for me, I helped Rin train the goblinas today and we experimented if her instructor and sergeant traits boost learning on survival skills. So we had the twins teach us all cooking and sewing. I could do those in my past life so I didn't need much to get the skills and the others seem to learn faster after Rin could do it.

As I understand it she now functions like a pack leader, when she can do it the rest will soon follow. After that I worked out myself, trained mana with sei, swordsmanship with sato, studied with sui, grappled with chi, trained Kichi and did some mild hunting. I can catch hind bears easy and they're meat is tasty once the smell and gamy taste is removed.

Getting more goblinas trained up is a priority for me having a slow life in the future. I've noticed Sei's mana has been a little erratic today which if I'm correct means I'll be having another surprise tomorrow morning.
