After I was transported, memories piled up in my mind. It seems I have a beautiful wife and a three-month-old son.

I will be meeting them right after we finish this job and I will surely savor her right after I return.

We soon entered the gate and what welcome us were the townspeople celebrating. Well, we won? Of course they will celebrate, especially that many of us returned despite an entire year without propee news. The townspeople cheer us as they threw flowers on to the sky. As for the soldiers, we smile proudly as we ride our horse casually making a dignified aura.

And not too long after, we arrive in front of a huge gate and walls covering a majestic castle.

There, a man appears and made an announcement about the glorious victory of our country and how heroic us soldiers did. After that he called all the honorable names that made a huge contribution in the war, of course, I'm not included.

Although I have a powerful magic, it seems my former self tried to lay low and didn't use his full power in the war. Because of that, he suffered a huge mental breakdown and died from a cause of brain dead.

After that, we were told to line up in order to receive our rewards. We receive salary every month when at war, but because of our victory, we will have a bonus; ten times the amount of our salary.

"Alright, Verian, here's your payment. Four gold coins in total, any complain?" Our captain said as he hands me the bag of golds and silver.

What?! What do you mean complain? I have something to say, but not complain! Do you even know how much this thing can do to me?

I can live for an entire life without worrying about money! Is want I want to say, still I need to keep face in order to not get behead. I still haven't tasted my wife since I returned from the battle, after all.

"No, sir. This is more than enough!" A smile form on the captains face as he heard my words.

I left the line and was told to wait until everyone was done. And of course I waited, what do you think of me? Even though I'm like this, I'm still sane!

It all ended fast and I'm now riding my horse, with full speed!!

I jump off from my horse the moment I arrive in front of the entrance. I might be on a hurry, but I still want to surprise my wife. I just bought a meat with me since we will be celebrating for my return so I told the guard to hold it for me.

I rush towards my house with a grin on my face. The villagers immediately recognize me with my body and face and made a way for me as if reading my mind.

As I thought about thanking them, I arrive near my house. I immediately stop and made a quiet walk towards the door in order to not attract attention. Well, I will surely attract attention if someone sees me doing something suspicious. Still, I'm already at my limit!!

As I arrive in front of the door, I immediately burst inside...

And there, I saw my beautiful wife!!!

Damn!! This guy is quite a lucky one for finding such a fine woman! She's even prettier up close!
