15 Changes in the timeline and submission of the ogre's!
[ A New Quest has been issued by the 'world']
[ World Quest : approaching disaster!
Describtion: a certain disaster type entity has been born in the "great forest of jura".Under a "demon lord" class entity's influence the disaster has been greatly magnified.
Objective:
*Kill the disaster type entity at any cost.
Failure penalty: all life in the "great forest of jura" and surrounding nations will be plundered.]
"Huh?!! looks like my divination has been correct.there are changes in the original timeline.But still the changes shouldn't be so much!" Exclaimed rimuru .
"To be described as 'greatly magnified' what did you do clayman... And shouldn't it be described as 'devour' and not 'plunder'."thought rimuru as he gritted his teeth in frustration.
"Ughh... The ability [divination] has been ringing danger bells in my head for a while and the feeling of not having the situation under control is truly unpleasant."
At this time a pair of hands pulled rimuru in a warm embrace.
"Rimuru,you shouldn't make such a unpleasant face.if something is troubling you, you can share it with me.let me take over some of your burden." Lena said as she buried rimuru's face in her breasts while stroking his head.
Feeling Lena's concern and hearing her words rimuru silently rested in her embrace as he calmed his mind and thought "yeah, I can't show my pathetic side to Lena."
Freeing himself from Lena's hug rimuru said, "sure. I'll depend on you then."
After a few days later, rimuru was currently heading toward the ogre village.
"I don't know what kind of changes are happening but I hope the ogre village is safe.there are a lot of talents In that village. especially the survivors from the original story."thought rimuru as he was currently traveling on Osiris along with lena and ayrin on ranga.
"Master, we're close to the ogre village. Any further and we might be descoverd."informed Osiris.
"Hmm~ ranga set up an illusion barrier around. everyone stay as quiet as possible. we will sneak in the ogre village and observe them first."
"Roger! Woof~ okay!" Replied everyone as they closed in on the ogre village.
Upon seeing that the ogre village was fine rimuru finally sighed in relief.
Earlier rimuru had sent the shadow mouses to investigate the orc disaster or any other anomaly in the forest.although shadow mouses are not very intelligent but they can still do basic investigation and they are masters at hiding.however no matter how many shadow mouse rimuru sent they never returned.
So rimuru was really anxious about the ogres.now seeing that they were alright rimuru had some ideas about investigating the orc disaster himself.
"But first I have to convince the ogre's to submit under me. this is going to be a pain.the ogre's are a prideful race.to make them submit under me is not going to be easy."
Telling ranga to cancel the barrier around them rimuru went to the gate of the village where the ogre guards stopped them.
"Halt! Who are you?!! What business do you have here?!" Shouted the guards seeing ranga and osiris they took defensive stance.
"I want to meet your village chief."replied rimuru as he pressured them using his aura.
Feeling the pressure and understanding that they can't match the man in front of them one of the guard backed of to call for reinforcement while the other guard said, "please wait, the chief will be here in a few minutes."
seeing this Rimuru said nothing and just sat on top of Osiris as he used his [true sense] to survey the whole village.
Before long, an old man with white hair and wrinkled face arrived near the gate with a lot of strong looking ogre's.
Rimuru scrutinized the old men in the middle.although the men looked old he had a straight back,broad visage and behind that wrinkled face he had a trace of handsomeness.
"He must have been handsome when he was young. Shuna must have inherited his looks."thought rimuru ideally as he watched their show of power with an uninterested expression.
"Why have you come here majin?" Asked the old man with authority in his tone.
"Do plan to have a conversation while standing here?"not replying to the question rimuru asked back while releasing enough aura to hint at his strength.
Feeling the aura that rimuru was releasing every ogre's hairs stand on their end as they finally realized what they were dealing with.
"How rude of us. please follow me. I hope you will forgive our inhospitality." Said the village head. as he lead rimuru and party towards the center of the village.
Because he already felt that if the majin in front of them wanted to harm them no one among them will be able to stop him so in a show of sincerity he directly lead them to his house.
The house looks simple with japanese style arrangements.as rimuru and party entered the house the village head and another white hair old man sat opposite of rimuru with the white hair old man standing behind the village head.the others were listening from the side.
"So I'll go straight to the point, do you know of the disaster coming toward this village?" Asked rimuru not bothering about pleasantries.
"Oh.. what might you be referring to?" Asked the village head acting ignorant.
"Old man I'm not here to harm you ogre's.i wanted to help you. If I want to I can destroy this village easily and you know it. If you don't want to talk then it's okay we will leave." Said rimuru as he tried to corner the ogre's.
Hearing rimuru's words the village head was quite for a while before accepting the fact.
"Sigh~ please forgive me for my rudeness. I can't help but be vigilant against someone as strong as you. As for the disaster we really don't know anything about it.we only know something very strong is moving toward here. our scouts have gone to investigate the source but returned empty handed. When they go near source the feel dreadful.those that tried to investigate never returned.so they didn't dare to investigate it anymore."
"So what are your plans?"asked rimuru seeing that the village head finally was Willing to talk sincerely.
"It is already too late for us to relocate the whole village so we're planning to lead the villagers away while the fighters buy time." Said village head as he sighed in resignation.hearing village heads words a gloomy expression appeared on everyone's face.
"I can disclose some information. the source of the disaster should be an orc lord with unknown powers."
"What!! If the one leading is the orc lord then our ogre village really can't do anything.our numbers are just about 200.even if we are more powerful then the orc's, we can at most take on 6000 orc's with casualties on our side."mumbled village as looked at the white haired old man before looking at rimuru in the eyes.
"So may I ask why you're telling us this information and what are your intentions?" Asked the village head now more politely.
"First let me introduce myself. my name is Rimuru tempest.the lord of the "jura tempest settlement". Although we are a new force I wish to develop it as a empire for monsters and magic Borns to live peacefully. where everyone can coexist together.this here are our head of inscription department Lena and head of the magic department ayrin.outside are the leader of our undead legion Osiris and leader of monster legion ranga"
"We offer you to safely relocate every ogre and all your possessions.a safe environment to live.a new village similar to human grand cities to move.along with naming every ogre's we offer education for the young and training facilities for others. All that require you to do is submit under me,dedicate yourselves for the settlement and I will protect you. So what will be your decision?"asked rimuru while releasing a majestic aura.
Hearing rimuru's offer the village head exchanged a glance with the white hair old man then with the others as they made a commotion for a while.as the old man nodded his head saying, "there is no lies in his words"
The village head stood up from his position.
"We have no other choice but to submit under you.my lord,please take care of us in the future."said the village head as everyone bowed their head.
