Adjusting

Unable to respond to what was going on I froze up. Fortunately my mother didn't notice or I wouldn't know what to tell her. Again I heard the little fairy say "I'm talking in directly into your head, you can do the same just by thinking and I'll be able to understand what you want to convey!" Wow that sure is handy.

Joseph: "So just like this?"

Fairy: "Yeah perfect!"

Joseph: "Hey do I you have any name other than the Will or something? It'd be awkward to call you that all the time..."

Fairy: "I'm just a small part of the Will given consciousness to aid you, so I don't have a name!"

Hmmmm maybe I should give her a name. "How about I call you Little Dou! It sounds cute!"

Little dou looked happy with her new name as she comfortably snuggled up to me and said in her charming voice " Yay I have a name thanks Joseph!"

This conversation took only 3 seconds as they took place via his brain, which went through a recent upgrade. I'm really excited! From now on I can become a star! After squirming out of his mothers hug, they continued casually chatting to pass time. After roughly 30 minutes, the two doctors came and after filling out the required paperwork, were quickly on their way out of the hospital. The pair of mother and son got into a taxi and were on their way home. Along the way Joseph was questioning little Dou on what was possible for her to help with. Because of his desire to become the best at basketball that was mainly what she was able to guide him on. Although she was able to enlighten him on stuff that he found difficult, she encouraged him to work through problems on his own so he can amass more experience. Upon arriving home, max immediately ran to check the date; July 3 2001. He circled the date to remember it as not the day of his accident, but as the start of his new life. While he was busy acclimating himself to his new/old body, he heard "Joseph come down for a meal!"

He quickly yelled back "I'm coming mom!" He quickly booted up the old desktop before running downstairs, almost tripping along the way, before giving his mom a peck on the cheek and sitting doing. While eating he was wondering how to ask his mom for a diet plan so he could build a foundation for his body early, and become strong and built. While he was shush mulling over this he suddenly remembered little Dou, does she not require food! He quickly asked her with his mind and thankfully she said although she can partake in meals, it wasn't really required but she apparently appreciated his thinking of her as she had a wide smile on her face. Deciding that during meal time would be the most opportune time to ask his mother about stuff he simply decided to ask.

"Mom! Can you help me make a new diet plan!"

"What you don't like my cooking anymore?" She joked.

Quickly refuting her he explained "No no no it's just that I want to be a professional basketball player when I'm older! I need a strong body to become one."

"Is this your dream Joseph?" Knowing his mother would support him as she always had he immediately nodded to show she was correct. Seeing her son confirm she started thinking of what she could do for her beloved child. She that although they weren't rich they were definitely upper class as her work as an electric engineer had put a lot of money in her savings. She decided that since it was her child's dream she'd do anything to make it happen. "Okay but we have to research properly, so we can do our best for your future!"

Joseph being very excited, didn't thank his mother as he knew thanks weren't needed between them, he nodded vigorously while smiling and promised "Yeah I got the computer running so I can check stuff out after dinner!"

"That's great son, I'm glad you're dedicated!"

After dinner as he said, Joseph checked out a good basic diet plan for athletes from his age until he turned a bit older. After writing everything down neatly, he started looking for cool videos about old pros and moves, to see if he could comprehend their actions! 2 hours later as he was getting ready for bed he was simultaneously talking to little Dou, planning his future out. While conversing she made a suggestion that made a lot of sense; go to the park to play around with a ball and build up some stamina. She also told him she could display his physical ability in statistical form! When he asked her to show him it looked like this!
