24 Sacrificing Emelia

Out of everyone, Yao Wang has the most battle experience because he was a battle freak in his previous life and someone who strongly believes in the principle of strength.

There were only five of the tomb angels remaining. After seeing Yao Wang kill one of them with so much ease, they immediately saw him as a danger that should be uprooted immediately before it harms them, and they attacked him at once, while releasing curses.

Simultaneously, they yelled, releasing their inner energies for the first time.

Their eyes widened when they couldn't find Yao Wang anymore, as it seemed he had disappeared, or something even worse.

Yao Wang, in reality, teleported to their back and used his heaven-dominating fist, as well as his dark energy acting as an attack enhancer, to deal an attack that far outmatched that of a lord.

In just ten seconds, the heads of the tomb angels exploded, and their bodies began changing to the color of something that is beginning to rot.

Everyone gasped for air after witnessing what a young person could do to the enemies they feared in less than a half-minute.

Everyone looked at him with reverence, like a little child looking at a superhero, except the indifferent Lin Tian and Damian, who just sneered and got pretty suspicious.

Now that the tomb angels are dead, the tomb will be less difficult, but that will be only if the creator didn't place higher level monsters in it.

After saying so, he turned into a gaseous mass of red energy, and the next moment he could be seen moving in a direction with blinding speed that was pretty hard to follow with the naked eye.

Seeing this, Yao Wang pitied him because even if he was the first, without a blood offering and the password (which he already had..), all his efforts would be for naught.

The group of 39 was subdivided into 3 other groups. One was filled with the Immortal squadron and a few other people, numbering up to twenty. The other group was led by Lin Tian, and there were only twelve members, Lin Tian included.

The last was led by Yao Wang and he only took five of them, while Emelia made it six. Their total number was seven.

Three hours had passed inside this dimension.

Damian could be seen wandering alone in a montane area. The monsters he fought were the flying kinds who held spears, but his strength as a rank 10 lord made it pretty comforting to kill them as he liked and then sucked them into his body.

The Immortal squadron were the most unlucky. Most of the monsters they faced were the types that use stealth.

Lin Tian's group were the luckiest; during their journey, they only met one creature. It wasn't a tangible one, something referred to as ghosts, but it was hard to deal with because it cast an illusion that made them fight with scary creatures.

Yao Wang was naturally a battle maniac. His immersive battle experience, coupled with his arsenal of overpowered techniques, made him a killing machine that ended his foes immediately.

His group members were delighted, especially Emelia, who never stops staying close to him.

There was one of them named Chris who was pretty good at sword combat.

Very soon, they got to a place filled with a blood pool that covered a long distance. The blood in it bubbled as though there was something hot under.

Yao Wang had an epiphany; the monsters he had to fight usually used elements like blood and darkness; the ones who used weapons had red bodies, and now the blood pool in front of them.

This only means one thing. It means that the creator was someone with those elements' affinity.

"If that's so..."

Then the rewards he will get coupled with the map will be something very rewarding. Come to think of it, his main affinity for darkness and blood elements, although he could also use the four basic elements and also a few higher tier elements.

Yao Wang got close to the pool and placed his finger inside.

The audience were surprised by what he was doing, but they had nothing to say about it and just watched with curious eyes as Yao Wang's body moved 17 feet into the air and then floated to the center of the blood pool.

Immediately, the blood in the pool was alive again, forming shapeless energy that flowed up to where Yao Wang's body was.

To the audience, it appeared to be a flame heating an object, but it was actually Yao Wang using vampire mode growth to power to absorb the blood energy as raw energy into his dantian, which will then be refined later.

Yao Wang's ears were greeted with the sound of something cracking. What cracked was his dantian, and this process was known as dantian evolution, a phenomenal peculiar to cultivators.

At first, the dantian is in the birth phase. After the cultivator has transcended rank 5, the dantian will undergo another evolution to the baby phase.

Right now, evolution has risen to the adolescent stage.

Even with this achievement, he continued to absorb the blood energies until almost ten hours later.

After she died, Yao Wang used dark energy to move her body into the force field, which took it bit by bit until she disappeared.
