Master Hassim looked at Kaden with surprise, but the surprise quickly turned into delight. 

"Ah, Mr. Kaden, interested in the art of blacksmithing, are you? Well, considering all you've done for me, I'd be honored to take you on as an apprentice." 

"In fact, I've been wanting to pass down my skills for a long time now. Most folks these days are only interested in quick loot and dungeon diving. The art of crafting is losing its respect."

Kaden felt relieved. "That's wonderful to hear, Master Hassim. I am deeply interested in blacksmithing."

"Very well, let's not waste any time," Hassim said, rolling up his sleeves. "I'll start by teaching you the basics. Pay close attention, the first step in mastering the craft is to understand the metal you're working with."
