48 Chapter 48 – The Two Weddings

It has come to the attention of the steward of Caldawn that the promise of marriage should be honoured by Merillion to wed Hoshiro as he defeats the Demon Lord.

Merillion, having forgotten all about it, became very excited at the prospect. Yet it would not be her to propose the idea first for customs dictated that the male should act first. She dreamt about the day when Hoshiro would propose to her, but it seemed like Hoshiro was dense and only preoccupied himself with governing the realms.
