46 Chapter 46 – My Final Request

“Why have you chosen death?” Asked the real Hoshiro, confused as to the action of his clone. At his core, he thought something was amiss that this whole set up was a trap of some sort and that by dying, the clone would have activated some sort of spell or command that would cover the land in darkness. His distrust grew and his mind went to dark places as a result.

“Have you ever considered death as a solution?” Asked the clone.

“A solution? Death is no solution. It is the end and a solution only comes about if you are alive.” Argued the real Hoshiro.

“If I sacrifice my life to obtain peace, then the solution would be death.” Said the clone. “I present myself to death, as long as my last wish can be granted.”

“Peace? It is not peace you are dying for….. it is a request. Tell me what request you would have if you are ready to lay down your life for it?” Asked the real Hoshiro.
