45 Chapter 45 – He Came Alone

The third day came much too soon, thought Hoshiro. His eyes looked at the dawn and the redness of the rising sun.

He was unable to sleep at all last night, even though Merillion came to comfort him. He felt sick to his stomach, but ate breakfast as if nothing bothered him. He had to appear strong so that the others would not falter in their faith.

After breakfast with the party, he conjured up several phoenixes and had the team each ride their own bird and then they flew towards the plains of Alfalas.

He saw mountains, rivers, valleys. Hoshiro had no idea what awaited him, but he was prepared to die. But he did not say what was in his mind and did not disclose his determination to his team.

They were not stern, but all were a little tense.

By mid day, they arrived to the plains and they came down from the sky.

Not far from them were two figures, waiting for the party to arrive.

The clone Hoshiro and Merillion walked up to the party.
