40 Chapter 40 – The Undoing

Axthleon flew through the cracks of the Demon Lord’s chamber doors. The prince needed to make sure he was alone with the clone.

But that proved to be very difficult.

The clone would always be at meetings and summits and on his time off from command, Hoshiro was with the clone Merillion, giving no time to himself to be alone.

After tailing the clone for an extended amount of time, Axthleon was able to finally catch the clone in a moment of self reflection late into the night.

“Hoshiro, Hoshiro, this conquest must be done. I will unify the realms. And rule it justly with peace and prosperity.” The clone said to himself.

He went over to sit down and drink some water.

It was in this moment of relaxation, did Axthleon uncloak himself and locked eyes with the clone.

Axthleon chanted the incantations of the spell to undo the hypnosis.

In a short while, the clone Hoshiro’s eyes no longer was red, but returned to its hazel color.

“I had a dream……” Said the clone.
