39 Chapter 39 – Naksha Again

Larael led prince Axthleon on the road to the forest of Naksha. They conversed little, only to check if they were alright and if they were tired.

The journey lasted about a week and by the end of that time, they made their way to the edge of the forest.

“So, this is Naksha…… “ Commented Axthleon.

“Last time we were here, the dark elves overwhelmed us unawares, they are the perfect assassins and as such, expect the unexpected.” Said Larael.

“Is that so.” Said the prince as he decloaked.

“Come, they may already know we are here.” Said Larael.

They made their way across a stream in the forest. Resting to drink some water, Larael and Axthleon sat down and listened to the noise of nature.

The natural sounds were soothing and comforting and as they stood up again to journey further, they came face to face with the dark elves, katars drawn and pointed at the two travellers.

“We are expecting you.” Said one of the dark elves. “Come. There is much to discuss.”
