29 Chapter 29 – Blood of The Clone

As the clone Hoshiro hung up the phone, he was troubled by the fact that the original Hoshiro might undo his work of peace on Caldawn and thought it lament to regress the reforms if it came to that.

Unable to stomach that his peace keeping work might be overturned, he screamed in desperation. No doubt, he wanted peace, but just another way to it.

The clone thought long and hard.

First, he had to regroup and then restructure his strategies.

It took him a few more days to ride to ShadowMaine and was loath to face the Demon Lord and to present to his master his failure.

He ascended the steps of the tower and made his way to the Demon Lord’s chamber.

“I see you have returned.” Said the Demon Lord.

“My Lord, I have failed you.” Knelt the clone.

“How have you failed me?” Asked the Demon Lord. “You have accomplished a great deal in the last two months.”

“How did my actions become apparent to you, my Lord.” Said the clone.
