26 Chapter 26 – Groundale

The party arrived at the city of Groundale. It is home to the beastmasters. They have their familiars with them all the time and each beastmaster may even have multiple beasts to control.

The wary travellers dismounted and walked in the street. The gloom was apparent. As they walked, Phoebe flew above the party, protecting them with every single step.

It was not long before an elder of the beastmaster’s made his way to the traveling heroes.

“You have come at last, Hero!” Said the Elder. “I am Kalagon. Come, we have much to discuss.”

“Wait… who are you? How do you know I am the Hero?” Asked Hoshiro quite intrigued at the turn of events.

“Come follow me, my friends and I will explain.” Said the Elder.

They made their way to the Elder’s abode and sat down for some tea. In their company was Galagon, the Eder’s nephew. He received the guests with grace and formality. The guest returned the greeting in kind.
