24 Chapter 24 – On The Throne

Hoshiro and the others galloped at maximum speed towards the capital. Their faces were dire and stern.

In less than 5 days, the team arrived at the capital.

Patrolled by the orcs and trolls, the gate guards signalled that their leader Hoshiro enter into the city. The orcs had not figured out that the one who lead them was a clone and mistook the real Hoshiro as their general.

“Welcome back, my liege. I was not aware that you were returning from an errand. You seem to bring companions with you. Are they to rule alongside with you?” Said the guard orc at the entrance.

“What are our numbers in the city? How many civilian survivors? Were there any prisoners taken?” Said Hoshiro.

“Our numbers are well over 20,000 in orcs, trolls, and elementals. The civillians were not harmed according to your order before the siege began. All surviving enemies we have locked up in the dungeon. Some 600 soldier, if my numbers are correct.” Said the orc.
