22 Chapter 22 - The Truth

The clone Hoshiro rode with Galdouga for a good 4 days before they made their way to ShadowMaine. It was a menacing tower that went far into the sky. It was a desolate landscape unfit for the living. No green thing could be seen for miles around the structure.

Galdouga dismounted and the clone Hoshiro followed suite.

“Why do you think that is that the Demon Lord wanted to converse with me alone?” Asked the clone.

“I do not question my Lord’s orders. But my guess is that the intent to perhaps recruit you into our ranks, or perhaps make a deal with you somehow.” Said the orc.

“ I would hope for peace, but let’s see what your lord is up to.” Said the clone as he followed the orc into the tower.

Within, there were winged creatures that had heads of dogs that patrolled the entrance. A dark infestation of morbid energy sprang from the heights of the tower. The clone Hoshiro barely managed to climb the stairs before he had to take a breather.
