1 Prologue (A new beginning)

Footsteps echoed across a narrow alley way behind two buildings where Denmark was trying to pursue a middle aged man with ominous features. Denmark on the other hand, wore a mask to cover his identity and

awned a black suit. He had been pursuing the man as a part of his mission to gather intelligence about a new group starting an uproar from the east side of the city.Denmark hid behind a corner of the building where he followed the man who seem to be waiting for someone at the alley. Trying his best not to reveal his place of hiding, he tried to minimize his movements to avoid being detected. The man then picked up a phone from his pocket and proceeded to call someone.

Denmark peered through the corner and tried to hear the man's words on the phone.

"Yes, I have the file here with me at the designated location. I'm just waiting for your carrier to meet me here"

"I understand. I'll call once the tasks are done"

Denmark couldn't hear the replies from the man's phone but he couldn't help getting an uneasy feeling from all of this.

A few minutes later, a car arrives in front of the two buildings and a woman wearing pants with a black coat and white undershirt stepped out of the vehicle. The woman was tall and had a slender figure along with sleek black hair that reached her hips. She wore high heels which echoed within the walls of the alley with every step she took. She was poised very elegantly and had a tense aura surrounding her. Denmark took out his phone and started recording from a distance.

"The traffic around here is ridiculous, I could've gotten here earlier had it not been for that conundrum".

"So where is the file that I was suppose to deliver?" she asked in an irritated tone.

"Here" the man took out an envelope from his coat and handed it to her. The woman inspected the envelope before turning it to her side.

"Our boss will be delighted to hear that you've finally found the intel we were searching for, this will be an essential step in our group's conquest for power"

"I'll make sure to call him about this later".

They shook hands and ended their conversation the woman then started walking back to her car.

Denmark finished his recording of the entire conversation which unfolded. He knew this posed as a threat in the near future. He placed his phone back into his pocket and just as he was about to sneak away quietly from the scene a cat jumped at him and a loud thud could be heard as he fell to the ground.

The man and woman became alarmed and turned towards the source of the sound.

"Who goes there? Show yourself!" the man yelled and pointed a gun at the corner.

A cat ran out of the corner from where Denmark was hiding.

"We know that someone's hiding there, reveal yourself at once or I'll put a bullet through your head!"

Denmark walked out of the corner, hands raised as a sign of loss.

"Alright then I dare you to put a bullet through my head" he said in a confident tone.

"You dare! You look as if you work for someone who wants to oppose us", shouted the man holding the gun.

"I tried to be as stealthy as possible but it seems my efforts were in vain after all, go ahead just shoot me then".

"Wait" said the woman.

"Maybe we could use him for interrogation to see if he's spying on us. We need him for information. Lower your gun" she instructed.

"Oh. Bad mistake then it your loss after all no matter what happens, I wouldn't want my mission to be compromised after all"

Denmark opened a part of his mask to reveal one of his eyes.

"I, harbinger of absolute control over time and obedience, with my power, I command you to submit yourselves to me and do my bidding!"

and just like that time stopped for the two individuals standing right in front of him. He proceeded to move towards the woman and took the envelope from her coat and opened it.

"This will be interesting indeed and from here onwards it has only just begun, I can't wait to see how this turns out" he chuckled to himself.
